Hotel la Pergola di Venezia Reviews

I stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room. It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor. The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged. All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews. This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

The hotel lacked a sense of cleanliness. However, I was satisfied enough as a solo guest.

Good morning, The proximity to the center for restaurants is okay but no breakfasts even if you pay extra. 2 stars no, I have the photos. I don't dare put them on because it will scare customers away, but they are at your disposal. I am asking TIP COM to compensate me because this is not what I booked. THANKS.

I had been there a few times before, and I considered it a modest but pleasant hotel. The good price seemed to make the imperfections acceptable. Now I found it really too shabby and messy (various broken things, poor cleaning, dirty walls), insufficient heating, a somewhat sad a**osphere.

The location is about 10 minutes on foot from the ferry station on Lido Island. The staff's response is a little rough, but it might be suitable for those who like a proper frank feeling. It was difficult to find the entrance. I thought it was a little different from the building displayed on Google Map. The appearance and the cleanliness of the common space are not so much, but the room was clean. Good hair dryer and shower.

Very good hotel, well located, but the room was not ready for check in, we had to wait for almost 2 hours, other than that everything was fine, perfect.

The hotel is not far from the beach and many restaurants. You can eat breakfast for free, it is best to eat breakfast locally. The positive is the refrigerator in the room and the small courtyard with table and sofa. The impression of this hotel is a bit ruthless.

Went in 2018 for our wedding anniversary. Basic but nice apart from the ghost. We stayed in the room with the corner hottub (It didn't work so was just a bath). But the room was *******. Neither me or hubby would return.

The bathroom had a lot a of mold, the air-conditioning was blowing dust into the room and the furniture was in a very bad condition.

Familly hotel which needs to be renovated.Hotel entrance is strange like you get into a kind of "back door" storage room.The floor needs to be changed and the walls painted. The stuf,was a young girl looking like house keeper.No smiles,no welcome,no nothing. I asked if I can make a coffe to the kettle in the loby and I was informe that only next morning can be posible. I have low blood presure and after a long travel I had no power to ho out in the sun looking for a coffe shop,which were not next door also.I asked a cup of hot water but yet, I was refused.There was not even a botle of water in the room,too. The bed had a non cotton throw which made the night hard.It was very hot if I was keeping it on, and cold incase I removed it. No light working near the bed.No place to charge ph near the bed. Clean bathroom.Clean towels and beddings. Weired but close location to supermarket,feriboat and sea side.

Good, but must improve breakfast, only coffee it's not enough.

The staff was so accommodating and very kind. They made our stay so nice and easy and reduced so much stress. The gardens around the hotel are also beautiful!

This is a great hotel in a very quiet area but only a short walk to beaches,restaurants,bars and the vaporetto stop from where you can get to Central Venice in about 25 minutes,the hotel and rooms are very comfortable and clean with great service
