Agriturismo Speziale Wine Resort

We had a fantastic stay at Agriturismo Speziale Wine Resort in Verduno. The property is beautifully located among the vineyards and provides a peaceful setting for exploring the Langhe region. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Any questions or requests were handled quickly and professionally, making us feel genuinely well looked after throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the entire property is very well maintained. The wine-focused setting and tranquil environment make it an ideal destination for couples and adults looking to unwind. One thing to note is that the resort may be less suitable for families with young children, as it is clearly designed with peace, relaxation, and the enjoyment of the surrounding wine region in mind. Overall, a wonderful experience that we would happily recommend and return to.

Everybody is so kind ! The second floor suites are a treat, with a breathtaking view of a large chunk of the Alps' Italian flank. The whole region is a jewel box of landscapes, out-of-this-world rustic food and the stellar wines of Barolo and Barbaresco.

Really exceptional place! Beoynd exceptional service attitude by the owner and her staff. Every detail was highly evaluated from breakfast to arrival and departure. Pool area was wonderful and room was spacious with big terrace and stunning view. Will definately come back!

Speziale Wine Resort is indeed special. Wonderful location for touring the wine country of Barolo and Barbaresco. Views from the rooms are stunning. The tiny village of Verduno is perfect and quiet. A few quality restaurants, including pizza, are walkable from this small boutique hotel if you have done enough driving. Rooms are new, clean and comfortable with good mattresses and pillows. Breakfast was tasty and local with freshly baked focaccia (different flavor each day) and hot selections to order if desired. The pool and spa area is a bonus on a warm day. We did a tour of the associated historic winery - Fratelli Allessandria - a few blocks away. This was a great tour with amazing wines. Last but not least, I'd like to thank Katia and her small team. They clearly care about what they do and are focused on providing top notch service for their guests

Great food, really friendly owners, very peaceful and modern

Very nice staff and nice hotel!

We stayed here for 7 days and it was magical. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows not too fluffy!! The access to Speziale Pelaverga every night was definitely my favourite part!! Breakfast was delicious. Freshly baked breads and treats, eggs cooked to order. The coffee choices were endless and perfect. We didnt think we would use the optional steam/spa facililites but after a long day of hiking around the vineyards of the Langhe area they were a welcome relief for our bodies. The days were around 30c so I braved the non heated pool - whoop that was cold! We loved coming home everyday after exploring the area to our balcony and some wine. The resort offered a beautiful outdoor seating area but we were happy and content on our balcony enjoying the peace and scenery. The staff were really helpful and answered my one thousand questions about everything. They were also able to make reservations for us at restaurants when my brain could no longer cope with my gibberish Italian. Everywhere they recommended was fantastic. Verduno is blessed with some truly amazing restaurants. Our only hiccup was the air conditioning. Our room was in the sun the whole time so it heated up during the day when the ac was off. This was fixed after the first day so all was good. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a peaceful break.

A highlight to our trip. We spent four of the best days exploring and savouring this magical area. Our stay at the picturesque and totally gorgeous Speziale Wine Resort was exceptional with our hosts most attentive to our every need. We loved every minute!

Katia and her team of wonderful staff were absolutely wonderful and their friendliness and accommodation was absolutely perfect. We stayed 3 nights with friends. Everything is well taken care of and Verduno is simply a place you have to visit. Beautiful with lot of nice restaurant in walking distance. I can truly recommend La Speziale and I am sure that we will be back to meet with Katia and her team. Our only regret is that we did not have time to visit their winery but we tested their wine and it was very good. Thank you for taking such a good care of us and we do hope that we will be back soon. Highly recommended.
