Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernal - Dinosaurland by IHG

Nice cookies at check-in. Rooms were not as clean as would have liked. Was told when calling ahead that the hot tub worked and after checking in and going to pool room the spa it was out of order. Breakfast items were not stocked and many food items dried out.

The room was pleasant and clean. I did not have a chance to utilize many of the amenities as I was only passing through. The breakfast was acceptable and fresh.

The entire town and property are fresh and contemporary. Loved the large bathroom counter and luxurious walk-in shower. This is the only hotel I remember where room temp was where I wanted it, as I arrived!

Mold not what you would expect in a hotel from IHG It had black mold above the shower. Not what you would expect for a Holiday Inn Express and for the price being at the top end for the area. It shows not all hotels are run to the same level. Access was nice and the staff was polite, but it the mold made you feel more like you were in a Super 8.

So tiny. The rooms were claustrophobic.

Delightful This was the most delightful hotel. On paper, it doesn't seem like it's anything special, but the rooms were super clean and the staff were the most friendly and pleasant hotel staff I've interacted with in a long time. I very much appreciate everyone that works there.

Check in took forever and buying treats forever and declining every card yet we was able to order, a pizza hut order no problem

We had a good stay at the Vernal Holiday Inn Express. They were just finishing a remodel so not all the amenities were available but what they had redone looked great. Breakfast was good but they ran out of coffee and I had to leave before they refilled... it took quite a while. Would certainly recommend for a 1 night layover like we had.

Stay was ok. pool closed. don’t eat at the Pizza Hut next to the hotel staff smoking in front of hotel and the walls way thin
