Homewood Suites by Hilton Binghamton/Vestal

The property was undergoing a renovation which we were not informed of prior to our stay. Had we known, we may have opted for a different property. Some of the floors had limited room options. Consequently when we asked the front desk about room upgrades, there were none available. The complimentary Breakfast was limited and the lack of a waffle maker was disappointing. The staff were all friendly and accommodated all our requests.

The staff was friendly, very satisfied with the room, but breakfast wasn’t that good with limited choices.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. They are remodeling so a bit noisy during the daytime.

Booked a room for a 2 night stay back in November. Arrived to check in to find that our stay had been cancelled the same day it was booked and we were never notified. Hotels all over the area were booked full. ******* still showed everything was fine so my guess is the hotel is the one who cancelled because they had rooms under construction. Definitely would NOT recommend.

Property is under renovation - breakfast was disappointing and small due to renovation of kitchen area. The room we had was finished and nice, but the whole floor smelled strongly of construction/wet paint etc. I would have booked a different hotel for the night if I knew construction was underway, and the price was pretty high for the inconvenience.

They were undergoing a renovation, which was unknown at the time we booked. We were in an old room right under the work zone. No one should have to pay money for that.

Very modern and clean rooms. My suite was large and comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast was simple but with an adequate selection of times.

The room was awesome. Spacious, clean, and fit our needs perfectly. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and inviting. The hotel was under renovation, but effort was definitely made to make guests feel comfortable. The only criticism I have is of the breakfast. What is pictured are waffle makers, fresh fruit, pastries, etc. and those were not available. Instead, there were frozen waffles placed in a foil pan, warm yogurt, and breads. While we understood that hotel renovations change some things, we felt that breakfast was not good even with a renovation. We ended up having to find breakfast elsewhere, which was frustrating as we were traveling with two parties. We were looking forward to the ease of breakfast available at the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again after renovations are completed.

Pleasant, clean newly renovated, poor breakfast options
