A marvelous place and fantastic hosts. The house is a story in itself, a lot of history here. Clean and tidy. We only had breakfast, but several homemade products - rhubarb jam, bread and crisp bread etc. If we pass here again in the future, we certainly will book another stay!

I have truly traveled the world over decades and no other hotel has been as friendly, comfortable, and lovely as this small hotel, a lovingly renovated historic farm home.. It's on a beautiful, mountainous fjord with hosts as kind and friendly as anywhere on our planet. The place is a real gem in several ways.

This is a gem! The host, Sigrid, is wonderful and the guesthouse is a beautifully appointed and comfortable rambling framhouse built in the early 1900s and lovingly restored. Be sure to take up the offer of dinner. Our halibut and lamb dinners were excellent.

Great place, Great host, Excellent food and drinks! Old farm house with limited number of rooms. A must on the bucketlist😀 Close to the sea. Also “Rorbuer” available. Homemade food for breakfast and dinner. Just remember to book dinner when you book the room.

We stayed three nights with our 7-year old and enjoyed dinner two nights. Make sure to book dinner with great home made local dishes. The house is meticulously maintained with charming details. The hosts were amazing and made sure our daughter got her yogurt for breakfast and even waffles upon request. The nearby ferry port has a small beach and pier for jumping as well as a small cafe.

Vevelstad Gjestegård var virkelig et godt valg der det ligger vakkert til med utsikt til De sju søstre i havdisen. Gården er nydelig restaurert og blir drevet av et trivelig vertskap som gjør sitt beste for at gjestene skal få et hyggelig opphold. Sjarmerende og rene rom med gode senger, frokoster med hjemmelagede produkter servert i hyggelige stuer. Vi var og heldige og fikk servert to velsmakende fiskemåltider på huset. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!
