Welcome to Belle Terre Mansion in Vicksburg, MS! Y’all are invited to experience true Southern charm at Belle Terre, a one-of-a-kind pre-Civil War mansion that’s full of history, beauty, and comfort. Built in the 1840s and still standing proud after the Siege of Vicksburg, this three-story home has been thoughtfully updated with modern touches while keeping its timeless character. On the first floor, you’ll find plenty of space to gather and unwind—enjoy a good book or a game in the library, relax in the cozy sitting room, or share a special meal in the elegant dining room. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, featuring double KitchenAid ovens, a five-burner stovetop, a large fridge, and even an ice maker—great for family dinners or celebrating something special. Head upstairs to the second floor, where three spacious bedrooms with 14-foot ceilings and king-size memory foam beds await. One bed even has original Civil War-era posts—if you look closely, you can still see saber marks! There’s also a comfy living room with a big smart TV and a door that leads out to the beautiful gallery porch. The third floor is perfect for kids or extra guests, with two bedrooms that each have a queen bed and a bunkbed, plus pretty views of the Mississippi River. Belle Terre sits on nearly two private acres, with a lovely brick patio out back—great for grilling, eating outdoors, or just kicking back with family and friends. The home sleeps up to 14 guests, so there’s room for everyone to stretch out and feel right at home. We’re just a short drive from downtown Vicksburg, the battlefield park, and the casinos—close enough for exploring, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Beautifully maintained grounds and spacious and clean rooms with beautiful views. We had a week-long sisters/nieces get-together, as well as a birthday party for one of our sisters. This is one of the best vacation experiences we have had. We felt like Southern Belles and even took a few pics with long dresses. The birthday sister was the one who was hardest to get there, but she didn't want to leave when it was time to go!

Absolutely stunning property! I hosted a bridal shower at Belle Terre and the bride-to-be called it the “shower of her dreams!” Guests enjoyed an elegant afternoon celebrating & taking tons of photos in the courtyard, on the balcony, and in the beautifully decorated rooms of the first floor.The kitchen is a showstopper, the bedrooms are goegeous, the bathrooms are luxurious, and the staircase/foyer is breathtaking! We all fell in love with the incredible design details of the entire house. Between the gated circular drive and the immaculate landscaping, there is a great deal of privacy. I highly recommend Belle Terre and cannot wait for an excuse to book again!

Gorgeous property! We had an excellent experience at Belle Terre! We were in Vicksburg for our son's wedding and had the good fortune to stay 4 nights. The home is stunning yet very livable. Our host, David, and the property manager, Logan, were both very responsive and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staircases in the home are so lovely and dramatic, our son and daughter-in-law decided to have their "first look" photographed there!We hope to stay there again on future visits to Vicksburg!

Wonderful Historic Home This historic home was a wonderful place to stay with its close proximity to our business event downtown. The home is updated to meet all modern needs. The grounds were meticulously maintained. Each living area and bedroom was comfortably furnished and our group felt right at home. The owners were prompt to respond to any need. These ladies could absolutely return!

Wonderful Large Property Rental Beautiful, historic home, with modern upgrades, and also historic origins. Very large, and can accommodate, a large family gathering. Extremely comfortable beds, very close to historic downtown Vicksburg. The host was extremely friendly and encouraging. This is the place to stay, if you are spending any time in Vicksburg!
