My experience to Vicksburg Candlewood Suites was horrible. I would never, ever refer this facility for you to stay at During your visit in Vicksburg . The staff is rude, condescending, disrespectful and dismissive. The staff really didn’t want to be at work…..My question is……Why were they there. Every time we asked for anything within the realm of our stay…..It was like pulling teeth to get any help or assistance. I would stay on the streets before I ever stayed at this hotel again. I had to take my towels downstairs every day to get clean towels, because rooms weren’t cleaned enough. Never again! I’ll pay whatever cost at another hotel for convenience , quality and comfort!Thanks

One and done. The hotel is an older hotel that has been updated. The cleanliness was mediocre. There was a smell in our room. The rooms were very damp due to the wall units. We also had very loud upstairs neighbors up until late into the evening overall, my family rated this hotel, a three out of 10.

Small bed That was the smallest Queen bed I have ever seen. I booked Queen but I'm pretty sure that was a full size. Very uncomfortable.

Pet friendly?? We had a good overnight stay. The only complaint is that the description said pet friendly, but didn’t disclose that they charge a non-refundable $75 pet deposit. It would have been better to know that before booking.

Good stay - some issues Good stay at this property. I chose it because rooms have a kitchenette to make simple meals. Lighting in the room is not the best, would be great to have a lamp on both sides of the bed. There is a lady-bug issue in the room, I was told it's that time of year in Mississippi. They really were not too bothersome. The room I was assigned was at the end of the hall and unfortunately the two college teams staying there used the stairwell all night long to go up or down to other rooms, the door the stairwell slamming hard each time. That was not great for a good nights sleep. Room was hard to control the heat/cooling, didn't seem to work great.
