My wife, , myself and our daughter started our visit to Africa in Zimbabwe, and booked 2 days at Pamusha lodge. It’s set in a secluded setting just outside Victoria falls town… probably 20 mins walk if you wanna attempt it , but there’s no need as Pamusha offer a shuttle service , usually with the wonderful Geoffrey driving , for a small fee. ( also a shuttle from the airport !). We found the staff working there incredibly helpful and friendly, especially in organising tours with / through Pamusha as well as any other questions we asked. Food at the lodge was ok , mostly reasonably priced and the bar was also fine. What was quoted was what we paid for tours .Accomodation is a little dated ( no hair dryer etc), but ok for a base to explore from. Yes , not 5 star luxury but would definitely recommend to people for a short stay

The room was clean, the staff were all very kind and it was the best place to stay! I was especially satisfied with the sunset cruise that they suggested we take on the day we arrived!

We made a reservation on xc and checked in on July 4th. We flew from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls on the same day. The cost in Zimbabwe is not cheap. The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost us US$30. The hostess of the hotel was very enthusiastic. After we arrived at the hotel, she sent a car to take us to Victoria Falls. Of course, there was a fee for using the car, but the driver waited until dark and picked us back to the hotel after we visited the waterfall. We had dinner at the hotel. After dinner, a car was sent to take us to our accommodation. I wonder if this accommodation is a branch of the hostess? During dinner, we happened to meet a Singaporean Chinese. She solved the problem of communicating with the hotel in Chinese and English. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to communicate using a translator. The Singaporean lady helped us negotiate the transportation to Botswana the next day. The hotel sent someone to send a car to take us to Kasane, Botswana. There was no need to change cars, unload luggage, or pick us up at the border. It was done in one step. Transfer us to our hotel in Kasane. Of course, the fee is quite expensive, 50 US dollars per person. Considering that we are not familiar with the place, we accepted the fee. We had a good breakfast the next day and the driver picked us up on time. We made an impromptu request to see the Victoria Falls Bridge. The hotel was very accommodating and there was no additional charge. In general, I feel that in Zimbabwe, if you have any ideas or needs, you can just bring them to the hotel and spend US dollars, and nothing will be a problem. Finally, let’s talk about our accommodation, a bungalow. The room layout is average and not very particular. There is a corridor in front of the door, where you can rest and chat. The yard is quite large and there is a swimming pool. There is wifi in the room, but the speed is not fast.

Location very convenient for city tours. However, there is need to seriously curb on ant infestation. Space is rather limited for outdoor activities

The staff was superb and super attentive to detail. Clean and daily refreshed bedding is the mainstay here as well as the proximity to the mighty Vic Falls! I couldn't be asked to stay elsewhere. This whole enterprise speaks so positively and glowingly about the entrepreneur, Dave's un paralleled experience in the hospitality sector. Will definitely be back at Easter.

A nice little place that is quaint and close to town. The rooms are dated but cozy. Nice restaurant, bar and pool. The best part about this establishment is the staff. They are outstanding and work really hard to organize tours and transfers.

BAD experience, with a room key lost and then a bill of 50 (fifty) US dollars charged to get a new one..... Obviously an abuse somewhere.... Beware. Don't lose your key there!!!!
