Leslie and Clive have created a place of peace/relaxation and well-being in Victoria Falls with their lodge. The entire lodge is very lovingly furnished. The rooms, 9 in total, are very spacious. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, which is adjoined by the pool and bar. Breakfast consists of a small buffet and a selection of hot dishes, which are ordered a la carte and freshly prepared. All services were excellent, especially Taku, the lodge manager, who took care of all our wishes and organised all activities (Zambezi cruises, helicopter flight etc.) for us. The location of the lodge is such that you can reach the town of Victoria Falls in 10 minutes on foot, but travelling on foot is only recommended when it is light, because after dark you have to share the roads with wild animals (e.g. elephants), which really shouldn't be considered fun. That's why we always took a taxi after dark, which is no problem and not expensive (town -> lodge approx. 5 dollars, lodge -> waterfalls approx. 8 dollars).
