From the spotless rooms to the generous hospitality, Jiyane and Sona are superb hosts, and we highly recommend a stay at Kafusi Lodge. It is in a quiet location with plenty of outdoor space, and peaceful lounge areas. Although it is located about 2kms from the centre of town, someone is always available to drive you the short distance if needed. Hot breakfasts are available each morning along with basic cereals. Jiyane took us on a local tour, and the vulture feeding was a highlight. It’s an activity you would not normally put on your itinerary, but well worthwhile. And of course, walking through the National Park to see the spectacular Victoria Falls from different viewpoints is a must.

The owner and his family were very helpful. Transfer from and to the airport was perfectly organized. The lodge is newly built and everything is very clean. We always felt safe in the lodge. We were brought to restaurants for dinner and picked up after. Finally our host took us to various nice and interesting places in Vic Falls. We learned a lot about life in Simbabwe.

A wife and a husband owner were both helpful to let my day to day activity go without any problems. They do not hesitate to take me from the airport as well as to the town center back and forth. The room is clean and spacious. I appreciated spending time in a TV living room comfortably.

The Kafusi Lodge is newly renovated and very clean. The guests have access to a spacious living with comfortable couches facing a flat screen TV. We had the choice of buying and cooking our own food in a fully equipped kitchen, or ordering a breakfast of eggs, sausage, beans, bread, coffee, or tea for only $10 per person. The manager, Jiyane, picked us up at the airport and personally guided us through the town Victoria Falls and surrounding areas making our experience wonderful and informative. Zimbabwe does use American dollars and some excursions are a bit pricey, but overall I recommend this destination and lodge to anyone interested in seeing this world-renowned waterfall.

The room was spotless and had a fan. Breakfast included bread, fried eggs, sausage, milk, corn flakes, boiled beans. I loved fried eggs and had 3 fried eggs every day. Bottled water in the room. Hot water 24 hours.
