I enjoyed the impeccable cleanliness and the good maintenance of the hotel. For example, the room was spotless and the facilities were well maintained. There were not so many options for the breakfast. The internet connection was a bit weak.

We booked after a strong recommendation by a friend. In the past we have stayed mainly in hotels but we struggled with the hustle and bustle because we did not have young children. We decided to try this accommodation after hearing glowing reviews. The location is perfect for those who prefer a tranquil environment. It is located just outside the city centre which was ideal for us. I understand a taxi from the hotel to the city centre can be around US5. We were also informed (grape vine) that the staff can provide transportation though we did not confirm this, we had our own car. I have stayed in numerous locations around the world and I must say this was unique and I am already looking forward to visiting again. We parked our car, checked in and came out again after a few minutes and to our surprise, our car had been washed! The staff were very polite and friendly. The manager ensures that everyone receives a personalised service. We were blown away by the sheer size of the rooms! It almost felt like we were in a self contained flat without the cooking facilities. My favourite was the queen size bed which was really comfortable, I slept like a baby. The deco is quite authentic, even the ceiling looked nice. The cherry on top was the double doors leading to our private outside sitting area where we had our breakfast every morning. Now that’s what I call a personalised service. They have a restaurant on site with a personal chef who takes orders prior to cooking. We only had dinner here once and it did not disappoint. Some hotels allow check in and check out at specific times. Well, this doesn’t happen here. We were asked when we wanted to check in and out, we checked in just before 1pm and checked out just before 2pm. Booking activities is available from the reception but it’s not a hard sell. Khomondo provides all activities from this hotel. We compared their prices online to other tour companies and we found their prices reasonable. We booked all our activities with them.
