It was a very beautiful lodge.
The staff were cheerful and very fun!
You can spend a comfortable time there.
The food at the restaurant was also very delicious!
I wish there was a bit more variety in the breakfast.
There are no toothbrushes so bring your own. There is a convenience store nearby, which is convenient, but they are out of toothbrushes.
There is insect repellent cream available.

This was a first class hotel. We are a family of 4 and stayed at Pioneers as part of a larger trip to Africa. The food is great, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A staff member named Precious helped us with a large problem we encountered with an excursion previously booked. It had to be cancelled at the last minute. She offered many alternative activities for our family and called around to find an excursion that had room for 4 people left. She helped turn a crisis into a great day. What a great hotel!

We had the most wonderful experience. I had looked at pictures of the lodge and expected it to be beautiful, but being there exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredible, polite, friendly, and very helpful. The lodge was decorated so well that every day I saw something new to take a picture of! The gardens were maintained so beautifully that when our schedules allowed, we sat for a while to enjoy them and the pools. All of our meals were delicious! And our rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. While there, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit a Village. The front desk staff made all the arrangements. It was a highlight of our South Africa adventure with Gate 1 Travels. We are so happy God included Pioneers Lodge in our package of blessings!

Our stay at Pioneers was unforgettable. The staff was so attentive, polite and accommodating we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was my other half's birthday and they had really nice touches all day long. The facilities were very well maintained, the gardens were beautiful and the pool area also. Charity gave us good advice for food and transport and Peter in the restaurant area was super nice. Honestly could not think of a better place to stay in Vic Falls.

Pioneers Lodge is the best place we have stayed in our Southern Africa trip. It’s super clean, beautiful and everyone works here is so nice and friendly. On our day trip to Botswana, we could not pass the border without our kids birth certificate. They helped us opened our room and safe twice to get to pictures and finally we were able to go to Botswana with our tour group. The house keepers always put my two stuffed animal Lions in different positions on my bed and brought me such surprises and happiness when I got back from my tours. Everyone say hello to me from the first step I come into the lodge. They helped us arranged super nice farewell drinks and appetizers on the last night of our tour when we put the order. Everyone in our group loved it! We had such a blast and always wished we could get back again. Thank you so much!

What a beautiful place to stay... Picture perfect! Rooms were large, staff were super friendly and always greeted you with a smile. I would definitely return for a longer stay!
