After a long journey, we arrived at the hotel, only to be told by the lobby staff that our reservation was not for that location. They wanted us to move to another place ourselves. After some discussion, it turned out our room had been occupied, and they wanted us to stay at a different hotel. They even suggested we go there on our own. After further negotiation, they arranged a car to take us there and offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Everything else was fine, but I felt this whole situation was a bit exploitative, taking advantage of us being unfamiliar with the place. I hope that in the future, all guests, regardless of their nationality, will be treated with sincerity.

Overall a great historical hotel with updated room interior design and care for sustainability. Staff are friendly and nice. The location is wonderful and close to many attractions. Breakfast buffet is free. We got a loft style room which has an view of the ocean. Even the construction is going on until Sep 2028, it is not noisy at night.

Nice hotel with a character. The room can be a little dates but it fits with the overall vibe of the hotel. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but had right varieties of food that you won't feel the need to go eat outside. Staff were very nice and accommodating too.

Had a room just by the elevator. Kind noisy. And because it’s an old hotel. Can smell something. Sleeping bed is very clean and comfortable

Nice location and nice staff. It’s clean inside the room but not outside the room where areas with carpet coz it’s old building. Air conditioning doesn’t work to heat the room and no room temperature can be adjusted. Too cold for December & had to call front desk to get extra duvet. The breakfast is very nice
