"The property was in a good location 2 blocks back from the beach but also very quiet. The communication with the property manager was very good even though English was not his first language and Spanish is not ours Google translate helped a lot. The property has a storage facility for baggage which proved very useful in that we arrived early and could drop our bags off and use the bathroom facilities before heading off for breakfast on the beachfront. Like wise at check out the storage facilities were useful. Pablo also advised us of a good car rental company who were very good. The flat itself was very clean a good size and had a very comfortable large bed, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. A nice little kitchen set up too."

"A good hotel in its category. Easy going, very friendly, well located (walking distance to the beach). Staff is helpful and nice. Our room was basic but convenient for a few days. The hotel has a cosy garden to rest. but.... the breakfast was limited and could be improved. However you can also store food in the common fridge."

"Absolutely incredible! We had an amazing view of the ocean and the privilege and luck to watch whales play directly from our room window. On top of that we were waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable for a good sleep. The staff is friendly and ready to help with all the things you need."

"If you look at the hotel from the road it looks pretty unprepossessing. More cell block than hotel. However when you go into the hotel it is tastefully done and spacious. The bedrooms are large, comfortable with great views. The real winner here are the staff. They are unbelievably welcoming, friendly and helpful whatever the hour. It’s a haven in not a particularly attractive town. The real attraction is the whales, sea lions and penguins. We did great whale spotting and saw more seals and sea lions than I’d ever seen."

We felt like Alice in Wonderland seeing/hearing mother whales with their calves, right from our hotel balcony! The team were warm and welcoming and we felt so at home at Océano.
