Hotel Prinz Eugen Vienna

This hotel is super conveniently located near Vienna's Central Station, and it's also close to the famous Belvedere Palace! The interior has a lot of wood furnishings, which gives it a somewhat classic or aged feel, but it's kept very clean. The only minor drawback is that it can feel a bit dim at night. The night view from the window is decent~

Traveling solo, I was surprised to find myself in a room with four beds! 😂 The hotel facilities are a bit old, but luckily it's very close to the train station, and the transportation downstairs makes it super easy to get to all the attractions. 😘

Great, the rooms are clean and simple, and it's easy to get around. This hotel isn't far from the train station, offers good value for money, and it's a 4-star hotel. It's really excellent to find such a hotel in Vienna.

Although the facilities felt a bit plainer than a typical 4-star (💎) hotel, built in 1958 and supposedly renovated in 2025, it still felt quite old-fashioned. The chairs were dirty, the fridge was yellowed, and the walls were blackened, giving it a unique vintage vibe. However, overall, the value for money felt pretty good, and it had air conditioning!

This hotel was the most disappointing part of our trip. Other than its proximity to the train station, it had no redeeming qualities. The small bed for three people was terrible quality, just some flimsy wooden slats put together – I almost fell through! On our first day, the two women at the front desk had incredibly poor service. We couldn't check in even a few minutes before 3 PM. They also charged us an extra 21 euros for a child's breakfast, even though our reservation clearly included breakfast for three. I had to get it refunded by a different staff member the next day.

The room was decent, and the location is fantastic – super close to the train station. It's also really convenient for getting to major concert halls like the Musikverein (Golden Hall), taking less than 15 minutes by tram or subway. Plus, the Belvedere Palace is right next door, just a 15-minute walk away.
