Garten- Und Kunsthotel Gabriel City

Clean and quiet hotel with beautiful paintings and good breakfast. Much better option than popular chain hotels. All recommendations for good rest.

Location was fine, not city centre, more residential, but close using trams/trains. Good service, clean, good breakfast. Only downside was the bathroom being quite small that the toilet cover couldn't open properly, but it was manageable and understandable given space constraints in the area.

Location was easily accessible through tram, but facilities seemed outdated (manual key) and cleanliness of the room could be improved — the bath towel had stains. But otherwise a good room for a solo person.

The hotel is in a really good area regarding transport, bus stop outside which takes 10-15 minutes into Vienna city centre, breakfast you have a decent variety and a good selection of drinks. On to the room, could be better, decor is run down and looks very tired, thankfully it’s just a place to sleep, saying that the bed is rock hard and quite uncomfortable. Mattress is very thin and when asked for another duvet it never arrived. The bed we did have creeked every time we moved so I’ll advise to lay very still. Shower pressure was very up and down, so was the temperature. Price for the hotel and breakfast overall was good but would definitely stay elsewhere when next in Vienna just for a better nights sleep.

Facilities are terrible! Phone is not working, very old TV, even 3 mosquitoes were found in the room. No fan, no air conditioner.

The room is affordable.

Perfect place for the price they charge! Clean and neat and you even get a good breakfast :)
