The location is absolutely superb. It's a 1-minute walk from Vienna Central Station, and if you're traveling to Hallstatt or another country, you won't find a better spot. Access to city attractions by subway or tram is also excellent. The room condition is decent, but the biggest drawback is the lack of a refrigerator.

The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the scenic area. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Overall, it was a good stay, and I recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is relatively new and located right by the central station. The whole area feels quite modern, and Vienna's central station seems much more advanced compared to other European cities. Overall, the hotel is pretty good, and the breakfast offers a decent variety. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was inefficient and noisy. The controller was a mechanical type; even with the fan set to maximum and cooling at its lowest, it barely managed to cope during the hottest weather.

The room was spacious and comfortable. If you’re planning to take day trips, as we did, the location is very convenient since the main train station is within walking distance.

Located infront of train station & 5min walk to schonbrunn palace. Easy to find food and shopping. There is also a supermarket located at the back of the hotel building. I travel around the city with uber. Friendly receptionist. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Strong water pressure. Love the layout of their lobby. Ironing room located at the basement,quite creepy. But overall im happy with my stay there.

The location is super convenient, right next to the train station. It's about a 3-minute walk to the hotel after exiting the station. The window view is directly of the train station, but it's surprisingly quiet and not noisy at all. The front desk staff I encountered were all friendly. The facilities and rooms are standard for a 4-star hotel.

I would like to thank the staff who did my checkin, Vojtech (hopefully I got his name correctly)- he brightens up our days- he allowed us to checkin much earlier then the official checkin time. He even greatly helped to arrange complimentary late checkout for the 2 rooms I had booked in Vienna by 2 hrs. This helps us alot since we only have one night in Vienna and this allows us some time to venture out and come back on time for a quick shower before going to the airport. I would also like to thank another staff, En (hopefully i got her name correct)- she initiated to do the card extension for us as she said the extension wasnt done on the card (in case we can’t use it by 12pm-official checkout time). This current experience in Novotel Vienna had deeply ‘upgraded’ my satisfaction again on Novotel, which I always stayed when I go Bangkok. Thank you for the hospitality Novotel Vienna, I highly recommend Novotel Vienna for its service, cleaniless, location and comfortable room.

Absolutely terrible! Having stayed in countless hotels across Europe, I can confidently say that this one's facilities and service are nowhere near a 4-star standard. It even falls below the quality of any other Accor hotel I've visited. I'd have been better off staying at the Ibis next door; at least their prices match their facilities and service. I booked a family standard room and checked in online in advance, but the hotel still randomly assigned a room type. The bathroom didn't even have a single hook to hang anything – not for towels, not for clothes, not even a hair tie. And who would ever use the shelf near the toilet for their clean personal items? There was no full-length mirror in the room. The small table and sofa in the room were a terrible mismatch in height. The table was so low you couldn't sit and do makeup, and even having a coffee on the sofa was uncomfortable because you constantly had to bend over. The hotel's front desk closes early. The evening front desk staff are outsourced and completely unprofessional. They don't wear uniforms and have an awful attitude. While in the lobby, I witnessed the outsourced staff being impatient and ill-tempered with their work. It's not about discriminating against foreigners; guests of all genders, skin colors, and ages were treated rudely by that outsourced staff member. The bathroom was really off-putting and quite unclean. Staying here felt more like a hospital stay. I emailed the manager about the room type and front desk issues, and the manager responded that all rooms meet their standards. You be the judge of that standard. Later, the hotel refunded part of our room fee as an apology. But money is a small thing; you don't want to stay somewhere so uncomfortable on vacation. It really ruined the mood!

I had a great stay at Novotel Vienna City, with friendly and efficient staff from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and main attractions. Everything felt well-organized and maintained. Overall, a reliable and comfortable choice in Vienna.
