Mercure properties in Vienna

The room was fantastic! Very clean and spacious! It's a typical old Viennese-style hotel, which I really liked! There's a kettle and the bathroom is very clean. Even for a terrace room, it was perfectly big enough for two people!

I booked a 'budget room' option I was not familiar with, and found that it did not include amenities such as a refrigerator, complimentary water, or a coffee pot. While I had placed a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door when I went out, a man who appeared to be hotel staff entered my room without prior permission. I had my phone’s camera running as a precaution, which recorded this unexpected entry. Although I was quite uncomfortable with this, I chose not to make a formal complaint in order to enjoy my trip. I believe this is something future guests should be aware of.

Great location, just a short walk away from shops and restaurants and all the major sights. A comfortable room, average size for a couple but nice and clean. Comfortable bed for 2 people over 6ft. We didn't use the hotel restaurant but the option is there for breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of places locally to eat if you should choose to. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with advice on Christmas markets and what to see in a limited amount of time! The hotel also offered free walking tours, which we didn't get to go on but we would definitely factor this in for future trips. Overall a very pleasant stay, and not bad value for money for a central Vienna location.

The rooms are tiny but cozy. The soundproofing between rooms isn't great, but luckily, our neighbors were quiet. Good breakfast, and I absolutely loved the blender for making our own fruit and vegetable juices. The breakfast service was excellent, and the front desk staff were wonderful; they even left an anniversary gift in our room. The location is superb, just a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.

Very spacious and clean room equipped with a lot of amenities. Everything is well maintained. The only complain is I do not seem to find CCTV in the fitness room (which located in the basement), so I’m a bit reluctant to use it.

Very good hotel, very close to the surrounding attractions, actually sent all the drinks in my mini bar, the beer is rising, and will come to Vienna later.
