The building is quite old, but the simple design and service are satisfactory. The front desk staff are also kind and efficient.

The hotel is located in the heart of Viet Tri, just across the street from the lake. It's very convenient for evening walks along the lake. The rooms are spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, they have all the basics. It's one of the better hotels in the area. The hotel has a swimming pool and a basic gym on the fourth floor. Because of its ample parking, it frequently hosts conferences and tournaments, including a recent visit to the Asian Women's Football Tournament. The former tennis courts have been converted to pickleball courts. The restaurant's breakfast options aren't very varied, but the basics are rice noodles, fried eggs, braised beef, boiled vegetables, dim sum, and fruit. For dinner, you can order their set menus, which offer chicken and fish. I personally found the braised fish with plum sauce to be the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever stayed at. Overall, this is a good hotel for a morning business trip near Viet Tri.

The surroundings are quite nice, with lakes on both sides offering beautiful views at night, making it convenient for walks or jogging. There's a shopping mall about a kilometer away, offering a Korean buffet and WinMart supermarket for shopping. The hotel decor is a bit dated, and the duvet cover sometimes has holes (though it's still comfortable, being made of pure cotton). The curtains let in some light, the hair dryer is underpowered, and the floor drain sometimes gets clogged. However, for a city like Vietnam, I personally find this acceptable. Overall, this hotel is considered relatively good in terms of safety, noise levels, and accessibility for the area.

The hotel was generally clean, but the floor needed some repairs. The breakfast was just average. The fireworks on September 2nd, Victory Day, were enjoyable.

The environment is very good and the room is super big. If the bedding and facilities can be improved, it will be more perfect. The Wi-Fi is not very good and the signal is a bit poor. It is very quiet and there is a lake in front.

Saigon Phu Tho Hotel is excellent overall. Its location is excellent, with convenient transportation, shopping, and dining options. The elegant interior, clean and tidy rooms, well-equipped facilities, and comfortable bedding ensure a good night's rest. The staff is friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out are quick and efficient. The breakfast is also varied and delicious. While some of the facilities may seem a bit dated, this doesn't detract from the overall experience. This is a good value hotel and highly recommended.
