Vík Apartments

Great hotel! We arrived late, but the front desk was open for check-in. Self-checkout was convenient, and there's free parking right outside, which is super handy for drivers. It's very close to Black Sand Beach and Red House, with a supermarket and restaurants directly opposite. Highly recommend!

Our entire stay was excellent. The hotel's ambiance is quiet and elegant, and the cleanliness is meticulously maintained. Service was prompt, and any requests were handled efficiently. The food quality was high, and all facilities were well-maintained. It's an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure.

The room was very clean. It's a two-bedroom, one-living-room standalone house with all the kitchen essentials except oil. They did provide salt and black pepper though. The toiletries were L'Occitane, and the bedding was very comfortable. Plus, it had a separate washer and dryer.

This house in Vik town is excellent! 👍 Environment: Very good 👍 You can see the red house right next door. It's super convenient for dining, supermarkets, and gas stations, and it's so close to the Black Sand Beach.

Vik Apartments doesn't have a front desk; you get a code for self check-in. Our room was on the first floor, right off Route 1. There's a supermarket across the street. The popular restaurants in Vik are very busy, so if you don't want to wait, you can buy groceries from the supermarket and cook yourself. The apartment has a full set of kitchen utensils. We just bought things at the supermarket based on how they looked, and ended up with some strangely flavored items. I'd recommend translating the labels if you have time. After breakfast, we wanted to visit some attractions first, then come back to pack up, check out, and leave. When we went out, we saw two suspicious people outside, so we quickly went back inside, packed everything, loaded it into the car, and then left. Hopefully, we were just being over-paranoid.

The two-bedroom apartment offered great value for money. The rooms were clean and hygienic. However, the living room was too spacious, so the heating wasn't sufficient. The master bedroom had an extra heater, but the small bedroom didn't. The bathroom door couldn't be kept open, making the bathroom very hot. On the plus side, it had a washing machine and a dryer, which is incredibly important for self-driving tours! The kitchen was well-equipped, though it lacked cooking oil. The location was right in the town center, directly opposite a supermarket.
