Quinta Da Bouca d'Arques

We were so pleasantly surprised during our 3 days stay. On arrival there was a warmly welcome and a complete introduction of the Estate and the region. The owner, which we met briefly was very nice and the staff so friendly and helpful. The different houses comfortable and cozy. The bougainvillea house we stayed in was unbelievable. Spacey, cozy and comfortable. The bedroom very comfortable lovely decorated, like the rest of the house. The breakfast was nice and you could even have your breakfast outside at the terrace. The location top. So nearby all the interesting sights of the region. The woods an vineyard on the whole estate are worth to discover. Also a nice pool with sun beds to unwind after a sightseeing trip in the region. The only thing we regretted….that we only booked for 3 nights. A sure reason to come back. We were warmly welcomed by Gabriel who showed us the facilities and gave us excellent tips for where to bird watch and good places to eat. The Bougainvillea Cottage was lovely, beautifully furnished with every piece of equipment you could need. Our difficult dietary requirements were seamlessly dealt with. The birdwatchers too the forest walk immediately after check in! The Quinta is ideally situated for exploring the natural and historic wonders of beautiful Northern Portugal and driving up through the vine covered arches at the entrance was a lovely end to our days of touring. Highly recommended.

From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome at Quinta da Bouca d’Arques. The warm reception, accompanied by a delicious glass of Port, was the perfect start to our stay and immediately made us feel at home. What a beautiful and special place this is. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and breathtaking views, while the magnificent garden is a true paradise. Every corner has its own charm, with beautiful flowers, ancient trees, peaceful paths and wonderful places to relax. The atmosphere is both authentic and tranquil, making it very easy to slow down and simply enjoy the moment. But what made our stay truly memorable was the wonderful hospitality and the personal care we received. Thank you so much for all the kindness, attention and thoughtful touches that made our holiday such a relaxing and unforgettable experience. We leave with very happy memories and hope to return one day. Quinta da Bouca d’Arques is a truly magical place — a little piece of paradise in Portugal.

An excellent place for exploring northern Portugal. A fantastic Areal with a small forest, a vineyard, a pool and the houses. The Team is very friendly and helpful. We had a warm welcome with a Glas of Port and a small tour of the grounds. The service was fantastic and the housekeeping extraordinary. The Breakfast Basket was great and coffee and oranges were refilled every day. For us the perfect place, we hope to come again soon. Maybe it is possible to reduce the amount of waste even further by trying to replace portioned butter and Joghurt in the breakfast basket, but this is really just a very small point.

This was for the third consecutive year that we have visited the Quinta da Bourca d'Argues. That tells it all; we love the accommodation, staff, environment and luxury.

After a comfortabel flight/ car trip we arrived! We were welcomed and got an excellent introduction in the Quinta da Bouca d'Arques and surrounding area. All supported by glass of port. This is a great place to be, getting relaxed, visit some places, of course Porto and restaurants. Quinta da Bouca d'Arques is highly recommended to visit because of there great hospitality, kindness and last but not least by " the day starter" breakfast. We hope to be back soon.

We stayed here with my family, and we loved it! Beautifull place between the grape yard. Very friendly and helpfull staff, the accomodation itself was spacious, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast. We enjoyed every afternoon the swimming pool. This is a place which we recommend for the good service and there is so much to see and to do in the nearby surrounding!
