We had 3 rooms at this property as we were 4 friends walking the Litoral Route of the Portuguese Camino. This place is really special, and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here. I would have loved to enjoy a glass of wine or beer from the tower with a view of the sunset and sea. Our rooms and bathrooms were huge. We were very lucky that we had run of the house--we were the only people with a reservation the night we stayed. After dinner, we came back and enjoyed wine in the cellar. During the day, we enjoyed the pool. The grounds are really beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was varied and set up beautifully in the breakfast area.

Wonderful and relaxing environment. Beautiful and interesting house built in 1911 which has retained all the features of that era with some modernisation to accommodate travellers of the 21st century but with no sacrifice to the authenticity of the house. There is a Bodega where you can help yourself to a big choice of drinks which you take a note of and pay at check-out. Andres, his wife and their team are very welcoming and very helpful.

This was a lovely place to stay. The amazing house is set in beautiful gardens and you are made to feel really welcome. The house is partly museum and has many points of interest. Andreas and his staff were really helpful. They swapped our room so that we didn’t have to carry our cases up too many stairs. Our rooms were really comfortable. The gardens were amazing. Lots of places to sit in and out of the sun. There is a beautiful greenhouse and vegetable beds. We didn’t like the look of the swimming pool from the photos but it was glorious. Breakfasts were plentiful, varied and delicious. Thank you. Thank you too for the packed breakfast that you gave us because of our early start. There was an old cellar where drinks were available with an honesty box. Also two good restaurants within easy walking distance. Thank you for such a delightful stay.

Vivere qualche giorno a Villa Idalina è come fare un tuffo nel passato; ogni dettaglio della casa, degli arredi e del servizio sono curati perfettamente. La giovane coppia che gestisce, discendenti dei primi proprietari, accoglie con una visita della Villa che permette di comprendere il valore di ogni oggetto e spazio. Complimenti! Colazione ricca e curata con prodotti del posto. Consigliata!

Fumos del 4 al 8 en la villa idalina y todo un acierto , la villa es preciosa ,cuidada hasta el mínimo detalle , el personal del desayuno encantadoras, los dueños Susana y Andrés, puro amor atentos y cordiales , el desayuno buenísimo y variado ,las habitaciones amplias y limpias . Os lo recomiendo

La decoración está muy cuidada y bien conservada, en ese aspecto no me puedo meter pero nosotros íbamos por el brunch y no nos pudimos sentir más estafados. Lo primero las cantidades, no eran para nada abundantes (había cosas de las que no había ni una para cada uno) y no repusieron nada absolutamente (perdón sí, la limonada. Para beber había limonada, agua y sangría. Nada de zumos por ejemplo). Pero lo que más me molestó sin duda es que pregunté expresamente si todo era casero y me dijeron que sí y es absolutamente mentira. Todo era de Mercadona. Los embutidos, los mini croissant, el poco pan, las mini empanadillas, hasta la tortilla era de la envasada de Mercadona!!! Por favor, cobrar 80€ (para 2) y hacer estas cosas...a mi parecer lo considero una estafa y un engaño. No lo recomiendo y no pensamos volver. Qué decepción, con la ilusión que yo tenía😔😭

Una experiencia inigualable! Este fin de semana estuvimos alojados en la Suite Adolfo Junior y probamos también el brunch de Villa Idalina. Todo perfecto. El brunch delicioso y abundante. La casa maravillosa, todo cuidado con mucho mimo, cama muy cómoda y un montón de detalles en la habitación. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor es la atención de todo el personal. Te hace sentir en casa. Enhorabuena a sus propietarios y a todo el personal.

Reseramos el lunch con visita de la casa, todo excelente, el trato de la guia, el ambiente y el lunch expectacular, el precio de 40€ por persona. Una historia interesante de la casa que puedes tocar y sentirte como en casa, si vas a Caminha esta villa debe estar entre los imprescindibles

Preciosa casa, gente encantadora, una pena que el brunch sea tan pobre y no acorde a su precio. Una buena idea mal ejecutada a la hora de sentarse a la mesa. Ni zumo de naranja, ni fruta, por mencionar algo sencillo, sólo agua con limón y una sangría aguada. Queso y embutidos en lonchas, cual merienda de colegio, picos resesos, lo más sofisticado una quiche sin más. Los postres : croissant, bizcocho y donuts, normalitos , y sólo dos tartas que tampoco enamoraban. Ni una copa de cava, ni de Oporto… Un desayuno corriente
