The location is magic. The cleanliness is excellent. The staff are indifferent with booking details, and the service in the bar is tardy but overall it’s a nice place to stay.

Overall recommend! Great, walkable location with ocean front rooms. Friendly staff. Connected restaurant/bar. Very close to the Villefranche train station. Only downsides - the air conditioning in the room was weak and it was a little noisy at night since the location is so central

Welcome Hotel is in a wonderful location, right on the water with incredible views. Terrific restaurants are just a few steps away as is shopping. Easy rideshare or taxi access to the area. Front desk staff was fantastic as were the other staff. We had a problem with the shower drain and they were immediately on it and solved it. Rooms can be a little funky, but that's part of the boutique charm. Our room was spacious (by European standards) and the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean was spectacular, especially at moonrise. I would highly recommend Welcome Hotel. 5 stars without doubt.
