La Taara Feel Home

It goes bye the name La Taara Feel Home. It's about 20 min from White town, Pondicherry. The hotel is unique because of its French Architecture such as large bathrooms, large ceiling height, wooden antique furniture, etc. There are 2/3 types of rooms prices from INR 7,000 to 10,000 which includes breakfast. Most of the staff is prompt and courteous. The things to improve are hot water availability (we had to wait for 5 /10 min with running tap) and breakfast arrangements. They serve buffet breakfast a-la-carte manner, a waiter served std. menu on demand, but we experienced a lot of delays in serving and without proper order (even though we ordered 1st, were given last). Breakfast options are idli, Vada, Dosa, Omlette, Puri Bhaji.

The property is very well maintained, aesthetic and elegant. A calm, quiet serene atmosphere pervades the hotel. The staff are very courteous, cheerful and go about their work in an unobtrusive manner. They serve only breakfast, it was good. Thoroughly enjoy ed my stay.

It's a couple friendly & family oriented shelter .The ambience makes us feel luxurious in the heritage style. The south indian breakfast is awesome . We were hungry and exhausted at the time of check in due to long journey in the public transport.. The lady cook provided a lunch on demand basis even with single item such as 1 bowl of Rice ,1 bowl of spinach dhal , 2 eggs and papads. We felt very happy for providing such a homely food to bring back the energy . It is closer to serenity beach where we spent time in the evening and morning with out any hassle. Overall we felt as if we are in the home.

Pros Rooms are spacious and give heritage feeling. Staff was really good and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Hotel, room and bathroom were neat and clean. Very close to serenity beach. Cons Bed Mattress quality can be improved. Overall very good experience.

Best place to stay in Pondicherry. This is a heritage resort, this place has very unique and antique feel, interior is soo good. Staff are very patient, good and helpful, enjoyed compliments south indian breakfast Rooms are neat and clean. It is very closely to the main road and to the serenity beach. Places to visit: 1) Serenity beach(No fun activities), but can visit 2) Sandunes paradise beach(paid but best beach well maintained with lot of activities like Para motoring, Banana ride, jet skiing, ATV ride, other water games etc) 3) White town(Architecture is good, feels like you're in somewhere else) 4) La Tendanceby Le Club( Food and ambiance is good, Must have: Steaks, chops and BBQ) 5) Dindigul thalappakatti restaurant(Must have: Mutton biryani) 6) Nalla Tambi mess( ok ok over hyped) 7) Temples and churches

Best place to stay in Pondicherry. Staffs are very patient and good. I enjoyed complementary break fast it was very tasty. Rooms are neat and clean. It is very closely to the main road and the beach. Auroville and rock beach both are near to the resort.

Amazing stay at La taara feel homes. It’s truly a feel home experience. Very patient staff and excellent service. Thanks to Saraswathy ma’am for ensuring a smooth stay. She was very patient enough to listen to all my queries and she responded promptly and accurately. Even small queries are attended to immediately. Excellent breakfast. Kudos to Selvi ma’am for preparing and serving breakfast everyday with her smiling face. French style interiors were cute. Very family-friendly place.

The place is like an hidden gem u cannot imagine if it's located there. But when one enters the property it's alot of old world charm.so beautiful and so big.bathroom is almost size of bedrooms in some hotels.the whole team was fabulous.the front staff, the guards,the cleaning staff. They were very accomodative. The breakfast was also good simple South Indian spread.I know am going back.

Nice place to stay in Pondicherry. I must say that this place was beyond my expectations. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The complementary breakfast was too good. It tasted like home food. The people over there were very friendly.
