Sun & Sand Resort Oceanfront Suites

The whole stay ****** our sheets wasn't change we had to ask for towels over and over again it was dirty and ran down the pool step stool was broke and was unsafe hard to get out of the pool. this place needs to be shot down wish i could get all of my money back

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Respectfully, this place is horrible, they have absolutely no care for the customers needs, this place is very outdated and rundown. The tv was broken and they told us they would fix the tv, the person came said he would come back and never came back, we went to the front desk to ask again and the solution was to leave early, a common theme you’ll see. the pool is outright dangerous with the water underfilled and the ladder broken ( the important part of the ladder is above water) kids can’t get out if they jump in that pool . The ac was leaking in our room creating a giant puddle of water in the living room and they never fixed it, we asked multiple times and were told That it would be fixed just for them to leave the front desk and ignore our requests. They didn’t wanna reimburse us or switch our rooms it was either stay or get out. The room was cheap, the bed would move significantly if you shifted in the bed or moved in your sleep with no secure mattress or frame. The pictures they posted online were false advertising the rooms, we were upset to see that the room we booked online was nothing like the room we got, Important things weren’t attached in the hotel room like the front door deadlock was just hanging and the screen door to the balcony which wouldn’t close and was very very hard to move. I would recommend you go never book a room here, they don’t care about your needs.

Was provided with any towels or wash cloths for the room and the cleaning of the rooms could of been better.

Disappointed….. The beds had sand in them when we got there. The pull out couch had grass and sand in it as well. The floors were dirty. There were ants EVERYWHERE. They changed our rooms but it was still the same. More sand and ants all over the place.

All is great that is given by God, which is the ocean view, all else is terrible. Properties at such conditions should be banned to occupy such a great view and location. VB must have some standards for the beach line properties. I found a bag of rotten food left inside the microwave. Dust everywhere. Seemed never deep cleaned. Bad odor. Bed frames are the cheapest type you can buy from Amazon. It was wobbly and squeaky all night. In Europe you can stay at a 5 star hotel at this price level. Only positive impression I had was the nice receptionist who was helpful and accepted to cancel the rest of my stay.

The room was dirty couch was broken linens were stained balcony safety bar was falling off and pool was green and couldn’t see the bottom. The elevator had no lights and the whole place made my family feel unsafe.
