事前にオンライン上でクレジットカードで宿泊料金を支払い済みでしたが、フロントでチェックインしようとした時、支払いを求められました。クレジットカードをタッチする直前で私が気付かなければ、二重に料金を支払うところでした。フロントから謝罪もなく、とても不安になる対応でした。

Staff was amazing, from Karin tending bar to Caroline, Johanna, Alice, & Lisa working the front desk, every need was met, every expectation was exceeded, highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is good by nordic standards, but by international standards not so good…
Pros:
Great location
Generally clean, although cleaning crew discipline could be better
Hotel staff always greets you
Cons:
Generally bad service
Reception staff are young who don’t know anything about the Visby or Gotland
Poor cleaning discipline especially about changing the towels which led me to drying myself with damp towels occasionally
The towels itselves were poor, even after 24h of hang drying them, still damp
Breakfast only available between 8-10 AM, which led to

Excellent choice for Visby!
We loved our stay at the Clarion Visby. The best parts included its proximity to all things within the walled city. The breakfast is great, the rooms are incredibly spacious, and the staff is so kind! 10 out of 10 would stay here again and recommend to anyone who’s on the fence about different hotels to give the Clarion a shot.
