Frixos Suites Hotel Apts

Our stay at the Frixos was not an experience we would like to repeat. It was particularly disappointing as we had very much enjoyed our stay there six years ago, and were looking forward to a relaxing and peaceful holiday. When we checked in, the manager did not tell us about the construction work going on next door, at the Palm Beach hotel, which is being completely rebuilt. If he had told us about it, we would have left without even checking in. However, we paid for our holiday, but soon discovered that relaxation was not going to be possible. When we went to the pool area on our first afternoon, we found the noise from the construction work next door was dreadful; there was a lot of heavy drilling, and several pile drivers were working on and off throughout our stay, as well as the usual noise associated with a major construction site. Work started just before 7 o’clock in the morning, and continued throughout the day with a short break at lunch time. There was no work on Saturday afternoon or Sunday, but that was the only saving grace. In the end we decided to leave two days before we were due to return home, and found somewhere quieter to stay where we could unwind and relax. When we told the manager of our decision, he refused to refund us for the 2 nights that we had paid for but did not stay. Instead, he offered us a discount against a future holiday, but we won’t be going back. We believe that a refund should have been offered due to the failure to disclose highly relevant information which would clearly have affected our decision to stay there. The Frixos website states that the rooms are soundproof, but they certainly aren’t soundproof against the noise of a pile driver. According to the developer’s website, work on the Palm Beach has been going on for a long time, and is expected to continue until the end of 2024, with the hotel expecting to reopen in spring 2025.

We liked it here. We were not happy with other accommodation that we had booked in the area and so popped into Frixos to see if they had any availability. Marios was very helpful and as a result, we booked a 1 Bed apartment for 5 nights. Everything was neat and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was arranged that we could watch the Coronation on television. I understand that it is early in the season for Cyprus and Frixos appeared quiet and room only (with small kitchenette) however this suited us. Great to have a small and friendly Hotel and not a huge monster of a Hotel. Free parking. Ideally placed for travel to Larnaca. We used the bus. It was €4 Euros return. Thank you Team Frixos, for looking after us.

This was our 3rd visit (2 before COVID). Once again the staff where amazing. The location is great. The rooms are cleaned every day. Marios the front office manager cant do enough to make our stay perfect. The beach is literally a 2 min walk. Overall was a great experience and will definitely go back.

Lovely hotel, very peaceful, exceptionally clean, staff lovely and friendly. Highly recommend as location excellent for beach and bus service into Larnaca is very good and cheap. Will be returning again.

Had such a lovely stay at the Frixos. They were perfect hosts and the hotel was fantastic. Everything was beautifully clean and the amenities were first class. Very good location and great bus route into Larnaca and the airport.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Rooms are like suites which includes a mini kitchen.and everything is immaculate. The bar and restaurant were closed but wasn't an issue as plenty of places to eat and drink surrounding the hotel within walking distance as was the beach. Loads of sunbeds and pool immaculate too, they provide pool towels free of charge. Free one way airport pick up is included in the price. We are coming back again. We decided on a short visit to Larnaca and after a while searching we came across Frixos Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel had just opened for the season and was very quiet. The room was spotless and very modern and we had a good view of the pool and the sea. The pool is a good size with nice sunbeds around it. It is only a short walk to the sea. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. Larnaca is about a 10 minute drive away. I would not hesitate to come back if we come back to the area. Many thanks
