Great staff and felt very welcomed. I enjoyed the stay with the view and delicious food. Everything what i needed.

The room was clean, spacious and comfy bed. Fresh country air and quiet relaxation. We had a scrumptious dinner in our room and enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast. Very well run with friendly staff.

On our way back from Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park my husband book for friends and us at Melkboomsdrift Guest House. What a rare gem! Good value for money and all staff were friendly and most competent. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was also excellent. Good quality beds and bedding and the air conditioning ensured a good night's rest.

Great space to spend a few days, warm hospitality, fabulous omelettes, awesome views. I would stay there again. Well located for Olifantsriver Wine tour.

It is a lovely maintained guesthouse. I had the best imaginable time. Staff was very friendly, they even helped me plan my trip farther north. We also went fishing in the olifant river at night and had a braai there. Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation. Reception provided all information including that there could be load shedding, advised us of the facilities and left us to settle in. Dinner and breakfast were both really nice. Would happily stay again if in the area. Staff regularly checked to see that all was OK, a nice touch and not overpowering.

Extremely beautiful and very friendly staff. It is about 20mins from Vredendal and about 40mins from the N7 but all worth the drive. The route to the accommodation is scenic. Great staff. Receptionist was great, good conversation. It makes you feel at home. I had room 105 and trust me you would love it.

What an awesome place. Lovely food, tranquil and friendly staff. Love the lapa where you can get together and just relax after a day on the road. James, friendly face and excellent service makes you feel at home. James, you Rock! We will see you again!

The river view...the staff...the food...lovely place....the grape haversting period is such a lovely scene to witness....the Tomatoe Sauce factory nearby...lovely to see it in seasonal operation...lovely place to visit

We had a wonderful time here even though it was only for one night. Staff were great and treatment we had deserves every praise we can give it. We praticulary were impressed with Malcolm, who helped us and every other guest to the best of his ability. We are both very grateful to him. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, of higest quality and delicious of course.

I have stayed here for 2 days, it was absolutaly tranquil and relaxing. All the staff from Stefan to Liezel was amazing, they all make you feel at home. The breakfast was amazing and just what you needs to kickstart your day. So, do yourself a favour and came and stay here to experience your home away from home.

This was my second stay at Melkboomsdrift Guest House and I will definitely go there again. Staff is friendly and quick to assist. The rooms are great and so is the food. This time I had an airconditioned room and it made my stay even better.

Great place with great service. Stefan is a great host and always makes time for a chat and makes sure you are happy. The peaceful environment relaxes you daily when returning in the evening for a great meal.
