MeoMeo Homestay – The Sóng Apartment

First time booking here, wasn't expecting much. But when I checked in, I was really happy with everything. The owner was super sweet, came down to pick me up, and showed me all the way to my room. She was so helpful whenever I needed assistance, always replying right away. I only planned to stay for 3 nights, but it was so comfortable that I booked an extra night with her. The price was reasonable, the room had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. I'll definitely book again when I return to Vung Tau. 🥰👏🏻

Decent hotel, with a beach nearby. However, there's no good food in the area and the elevator takes ages.

Pretty good, though the elevator was a bit slow. Everything else was fine.

We stayed for 3 weeks, and part of our stay coincided with Tet, which made the price for this accommodation quite inflated. Because of that, I find myself wanting to nitpick and expecting better service. Overall, it was decent. It had one bedroom (usually, units in this complex have two separate bedrooms, one without a window, but here it was one long bedroom). They brought extra pillows when requested. Generally, it had everything we needed, including dishes, which isn't always a given, and even a rice cooker. As for inconveniences within the apartment itself, there was only one key, so we had to coordinate our schedules, when ideally there should be at least two. Also, there was only one remote for two air conditioning units. The complex itself was overcrowded, leading to long waits for elevators. Next time, I'd choose a quieter option. Overall, there aren't many complaints. We just got unlucky with the price.

The location is good, and the view from the window is incredible. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's an air conditioner in every room. However, it's very dirty; I don't think the showers are ever cleaned, and the rooms are dusty. At least the bed linen was clean, but the floor was also dirty. You can't really swim in the pool in the evening because of the strong wind, and during the day, it's packed with people. The pool water itself is quite cool, without heating. We didn't wait long for the elevator; the waiting time was perfectly reasonable.

Good apartment, reasonable host, great location, good renovation.

The apartment is decent. One of the rooms has no windows or air conditioning, but there's a fan. The second bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Basic kitchen amenities are provided. The complex has a lovely pool. The price-to-quality ratio is acceptable. The internet works, but it's not super fast.
