Sora' Homestay - The Song Vung Tau Apartment

❌When we arrived, we had no information about where or how to check in or who we should contact to access our room. Eventually, a woman showed us to a room and told us that we could only stay there for one night and would have to change rooms the next day. We were very confused by this, as we had booked one specific room and expected to stay in the room we had paid for. The room we were given was completely different from the one we had booked. The next morning, we were woken up by someone repeatedly knocking loudly on our door and telling us that we had to change rooms. When we entered the new room, it smelled strongly of mould. The room was neither clean nor properly prepared. There were still wet towels and other items inside the washing machine, the room felt very damp, and there were ants everywhere. We immediately complained about the condition of the room. We were then moved to another room, but once again, it was not the room we had originally booked. This room also had ants, there was no proper frying pan or suitable cooking equipment, the refrigerator was extremely dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned for a very long time, and there was not even any toilet paper provided. Overall, our stay has been extremely disappointing. We were repeatedly woken up by people knocking on our door, had to change rooms multiple times, and never received the room or standard of accommodation that we had booked and paid for.

The Song is famous. But this apartment is under average quality. It said that there were 3 rooms but actually the master bed room was divided into 2 bed rooms with only 1 AC. The facilities were poor, lots of things were broken, but it was ok if you just need some places to sleep. The rooms were not really clean, we even found "weird creature" in the bathroom. One good thing is the apartment is located on the lower floor so we don't need to wait for the elevator long time. Lastly, the host even didn't know the password of the wifi. We had to reset the wifi by ourselves to use.

The towels were not new And the owner didn't mention that the pool is under maintenance, i wanted to swim and use it but it was under maintenance the whole 5 days I stayed there The lady is nice 👌 The apartment is cozy ✨️ ☺️

The room booked mentioned lvl 5 above. However, I was on lvl 3 and the room did not look like on the photos. As I reached the room, the entire apartment floor was wet as they did not dry the area to avoid slipping and falling.. Also, had to ask her about the facilities to rooftop pool, the pincode to door and wifi ... She was helpful but it wasnt a seamless checkin. Towels were still hung dry on the clothing rack along with the dooner. (I speak the language and so she asked me to keep the doors open, dont turn the aircon to save her bills.) It was hot and therefore I turned it on my my own comfort! No water bottle, no coffee or tea provided. There were 2 toilet rolls for 5 days.. Imagine 4 people staying definitely not enough. To my horror, I found ants in the apartment when I did not have food. There was a trail of them from the kitchen to the outside door as it seems a nest. I contacted the owner via whatsapp and she came down after 1hr to give me the insect spray. She sprayed the areas ans asked me to sweep the floor but I refused, so she did it but did not wipe the dining table down and told me she's leaving.. Fortunately, ants went away and the bed was clean, and comfortable and the area was peacefull for a goodnight sleep. Checked the washing machine, it was disgusting. I did not want to wash my clothes in there at all. Felt a little disappointed as I did not get the room I purchased and owner lacked effort to help.

Such a nice place worthy money. Bathroom was bit dirty except that it was ok. Lovely location
