Very good hotel, located just a few meters from the Petra site. A wonderful welcome from the hotel manager, Zeyad, whom I'd like to thank for his advices and on organizing tours for me (Wadi Rum, Little Petra and other nearby sites that aren't popular but are well worth the effort, at very attractive rates. I was welcomed as if at home, with all the hotel staff taking care of me and responding to the slightest request. To testify to this family atmosphere, below is the Jordanian dish they cooked for me on my return from an excursion, which we all shared together. A thousand thanks for these eye-opening memories, I'll never forget!

*Disgusting Experience: Avoid Petra Corner Hotel!* I recently had the misfortune of staying at Petra Corner Hotel, and it was a complete disaster. The hotel's restaurant was filthy, and the owners, Altwisi, were extremely rude and unprofessional. *Unacceptable Conditions:* - *Dirty Restaurant*: The restaurant was infested with flies, and the tables, chairs, and floors were covered in dirt and grime. It was clear that the staff didn't care about cleanliness. - *Gritty Attitude*: The owners, Altwisi, were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They seemed to take pleasure in making our stay as uncomfortable as possible. *Poor Service and Facilities:* - *Run-Down Rooms*: Our room was outdated, with broken furniture and stained carpets. - *Limited Amenities*: The hotel's amenities were scarce, and the ones they did have were not well-maintained. *Overall:* Petra Corner Hotel is a hotel that prioritizes neglect and disrespect over customer satisfaction. The owners' gritty attitude and the restaurant's dirtiness are clear indications of the hotel's poor management. Not recommend Petra Corner Hotel to anyone. In fact, I would advise against staying here due to the risk of getting sick from the dirty conditions.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel said they could send someone to pick us up at the airport which was very convenient. We arrived late. After checking in we went up and wanted to shower before bed. Cold water showers after traveling all day didn't sit well. One of my friends went downstairs to report the water situation and Mr. Slah blamed it on the local utilities. My friend later learned that the hot water is controlled and can be turned on and off. The hired staff were very kind and helpful. The food was pretty bad because it was not fresh. Stick to the eggs and toast please. Less is more. Quality over quantity. Mr. Slah and driver were pitching the back entrance to Petra….Hiking Petra is no picnic (going the "back way" or through the main entrance makes no difference) and you best be in shape and ready for hiking up and down elevations. We went the back way and it was grueling. I recommend taking a golf cart ride from the Treasury to the tourist center because you're gonna be ready for a cool beverage at the Cave Bar after your day at Petra!

Not a very good experience. No hot water in the shower. Report ignored by staff. Other guests had a similar problem. Apparently when it is cooler outside there is no hot water, in a word avoid the hotel unless your stay falls in the summer. Good location.

I stayed at the Petra Corner hotel for 2 nights with my father. The rooms were comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which included a mixture of Jordanian breakfast and European options. Breakfast is served from early, which is convenient when planning an early trip to the archaeological park. Packed lunches can be arranged. Everyone working at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, spoke perfect English and were willing to provide useful guidance to visitors to Petra. The location of the hotel, is as the name suggests, on the corner of the main tourism street towards the Petra visitor centre. On the first morning I timed our (very leisurely) walk from door to door and it took 8 minutes. However, as Petra Corner hotel is on the corner of the main tourism street, we also found it was well placed to explore downtown Wadi Musa (up the hill). My father and I had an amazing time at Petra, and the smooth hotel experience contributed to this considerably. I would recommend the Petra Corner Hotel to friends and would stay there again. Thank you very much to all the team, especially Madou, Osama and Yasser!

Arrived too early for check in - but given early access once room ready (appreciated after bus ride). Room spacious, clean, balcony. Provisions: generous complimentary snacks & soft drink (first day only), with kettle & coffee/tea, large water bottle daily. Ensuite by door (rather than right next to bed) & no issues with hot water (took a while to come thru on one occasion) Enjoyed our 4 x night stay; Restful sleep & Location well suited to walk down to Old Petra archeological site (10 minutes down hill to tourist info centre) or Wadi Musa (10-15 minutes up hill). Appreciated breakfast was available so early (from 6AM) to maximise early start. Always welcomed upon entry & asked if “everything good?” Bus arranged by staff for early morning 6:10 pick up; Bus arrived early & hotel staff went out to ask bus driver to collect others & return in 10 minutes - ensured we had time to have cuppa & bite to eat before sadly leaving Petra. Don’t know if dinner is always available but on a rainy day, staff advised dinner for 10JD available that evening; 3 x courses & we enjoyed all, best part was surprise birthday cake & singing Happy Birthday to solo traveller guest & then giving birthday cake to each diner! Grateful for the always welcoming & friendly nature of staff. Hotel lobby has nice seating area with interesting photos of Petra from early 1900s. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Petra Corner Hotel is highly recommended as they have the friendliest and very accommodating staff, especially Mado, very clean and comfortable rooms, authentic Jordanian food, local coffee. The hotel is only 5 minutes to the museum and the lost city of Petra. We all had a lovely stay at the hotel and would come back to the same hotel in the future. 10 stars ♥️♥️♥️
