A resort is a resort, after all. Good: The facilities are top-notch. The various shops and amenities within the hotel are quite good, though getting to your room might be a bit of a walk. Parking fees are an issue. Mandatory valet parking costs $75 per day, plus a $5-10 tip. I'd rather have free self-parking like at Marriott. Honestly, why can't I spend that money on dining when staying for a few days, especially since the Japanese restaurant is pretty good? The gym is a bonus. The equipment is very comprehensive and professional. The room size, location, and views are all excellent. However, cleanliness is a bit of a problem; there was still sand from the previous guest in the bathtub. Service: I need to single this out for dissatisfaction. It feels like the staff here are unusually focused on tips. In one restaurant, I think it was Loulu, some staff are very attentive, while others are very rude. They might throw away your receipt after you've given a 12% tip, pretend not to know, and then ask you to re-enter a tip. Very CLEVER. When I was dining at an outside restaurant, my bank's fraud prevention locked my card. This probably happened because they failed to deduct the daily deposit of around $150. Around midnight that night, a letter was slipped under my door telling me to resolve it as soon as possible. In stark contrast to this speed, I forgot my charger in the room after checking out – it was behind the lamp between the two beds. I checked out at noon, and when I called housekeeping at 8 PM, they said they hadn't seen it and the next guest was already in the room. I don't know if the hotel staff are truly so unobservant that they can overlook a guest's item just 20cm away from where they'd expect a tip. Side note: When I checked into a Marriott resort, they meticulously confirmed my Chinese address, stating, "in case you left anything, we will ship to that address." If service isn't a priority for you, then this resort is highly recommended. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the service at hotels in Fiji and the Maldives.😆

Well it’s just time for a renovation at the Grand Wailea. All the little slides to connect each pool are closed. The Grotto spa is closed. Phone in the room didn’t work and keys stopped working on the first day for the door. With that said it’s still a nice place and can still have plenty of fun. If you haven’t been in a year or more, you will probably be disappointed. We normally go every year for at least one day and it’s slowly declining. The attached pic is considered ocean view just for reference.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with its own private beach. You can easily walk along the beach to the neighboring Andaz, Marriott, and Fairmont hotels. Furthermore, the hotel offers comprehensive facilities and is one of the largest in the area. The highlight is definitely the hotel's indoor pool complex, which features multiple pools with different styles. The surf waterslide is fantastic and a must-try for kids!

Highly recommend the Napua tower with the added lounge for breakfast/snacks/happy hour food. The staff there is also incredibly nice.

Amazing resort

Loved the pools (they are huge and all connected) and the breakfast buffet is delicious. Everything is beautiful around the hotel, the ocean views and the sunsets are marvelous. The hotel is really nice and the staff is so friendly. the rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is really near from the Wailea shops where you can find everything (there is an ABC store there)… We loved it!.

On the first day of staying in the room, we were arranged a room far away. There were flies on the floor. Ctrip filed a complaint. But the hotel's recreational facilities are really good. The breakfast is OK, but the fruit is not very fresh.

The room is nice. The environment is comfortable and warm. The service staff is nice. The restaurant service staff is nice. The food is delicious. There are few people at the beach for vacation. The environment is good. The facilities are complete and well-equipped. I will stay there again next time

Very good, but a little expensive. The hotel view is great. The location is close to everywhere. You can pick up various tours. You need to ask the front desk for room slippers. Lolu restaurant is good value for money
