Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui

The most satisfying hotel in this trip, the environment, architecture and service are first-class, all kinds of small details are also considered comprehensive, value for money, everyone is reluctant to leave, I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the future!
Ho Olei at Grand Wailea

I cannot recommend booking with Ho'olei enough. We had four adults (two married couples) and one infant and the experience was fantastic. First off, the Ho'olei team was extremely communicative weeks before our trip even started. We had texts and emails with the concierge regularly As a parent of an infant, the included high chair, crib, and baby proofing of the unit was extremely helpful. It was all set up when we arrived. Additionally, as we had a full kitchen and grill, they have a grocery service that will pick up groceries before you get there. We arrived at 2AM our time (8PM Hawaii time) and all of our groceries were put away in the fridge and on the counter ready for us to use. It was a very nice thing after 14+ hours of travel. Check in was very smooth with clear instructions of how to use the property. We had a Deluxe Ocean View which meant we were in the last row. The views of the ocean were incredible with multiple whale sightings per day. The only downfall of this is that the walk down to the pool or the hotel was a little longer. However, if you do want to go to the hotel, free valet was included in our stay which was a huge bonus. Additionally, when you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle service you just text to get picked up that runs until 8PM (however the valets take over after 8PM) Our concierge helped us book 99% of our activities. We also had a reservation as Mama's fish house, which you have to book months in advance. At the last minute we had another guest wanting to join us for dinner and the concierge was able to contact the restaurant and add the additional guest. This was a fantastic trip and if you have any questions I am more than happy to answer it!!
Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort

The room design facilities are very similar to the domestic Samsung to four-star restaurant. The taste of the restaurant is also good. There is no entertainment. The standard white resort hotel is flipping around the swimming pool. From the morning to the evening, the pool will be used every once in a while. There is a service brother to send free ice cream. The standard check-in time for this hotel is 4:00 pm. Later, after learning about the local land price with the agent, I probably understand why the hotel is so expensive.
Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

The Hilton Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea is now owned by Blackstone Group LP, private equity firm. Hilton members and especially Diamond members be ready to be treated like a dollar sign when you arrive on the property because that is all you are now. They are going to nickel and dime you for everything on the property. Diamond members don't count on or expect the upgrade to the Napua Club, it's not going to happen if you reserved your stay with points. Will be scoffed at, and reprimanded for asking, and Michele at the front counter will put you in your place real quick, and let you the Napua is a $400 per night upgrade, and your loyalty to the brand means nothing any longer, and you should be ashamed for booking with points. My advice is; Marriott Property on Maui outnumbers Hilton 10-1. Take my advice and stay away from the Grand Wailea and choose a Marriott property. The Marriott property on the island that is equivalent to the Grand Wailea is the Ritz Catron Kapua on the West side of the island. Ritz Carlton Kapua is 5 stars compared to what Grand Wailea has become.
Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui

Visited earlier this month with a group friends, the grounds are beautiful, the open air reception area is breathtaking looking over the water. The restaurants were pricey, ate most meals off site. They offer a shuttle service around the Wailea area which a very convenient. The downside to my vacation were the roaches I found in our room 2x in the middle of the night. When I brought the matter to the manager, Conor, he didn’t believe me and asked for proof. He wanted to see pictures. Unfortunately I didn’t have any because I had my husband kill them right away and flush them down the toilet. Our last day there there was another roach that we saw in our room (5212), I brought this to the attention of the front desk along with the picture and asked to speak to Conor. I was told it would be 15 minutes because he was in a meeting and I couldn’t wait as our taxi was arriving to take us to the airport. Beatriz at the front desk consulted with Conor and they took off of our bill $200, the resort fee each night (we were there 8 nights). It was unfortunate that we were not believed, and had this experience.
