Good location and a nice cafe/restaurant.

Excellent hotel near the caves: clean, comfortable, beautiful large area. Nearby there is a farm with animals. I recommend making reservations.

Facilities: Complete supporting facilities, including a swimming pool, a self-service barbecue area, a camping area, etc., suitable for the whole family to vacation Sanitation: Clean and tidy Environment: Independent cabin, soundproofing is OK Service: Friendly service, hiking routes and flashlights are provided

There are many bugs at night, so it’s convenient to go to Waitoo.

A very comfortable place

This spot was the perfect location for visiting the Blackwater caves. Our cabin had no TV, shared the park bathroom and facilities so was very budget and was totally clean and comfortable. The park pool was fantastic, I think we spent about 4 hours in there even when the grey clouds hovered. The park showers were spacious, great pressure and hot. Out the front of the park directly across the road is the Waitomo General store which had the most delicious take away fish n chips

Quite close to the caves. General store opposite and good restaurant next door. We had a chalet. It was fairly basic but had all we needed for an overnight stay. The track was a bit uneven and waterlogged during our stay. Seems quite a popular place. Be sure to reserve your visit to the caves in advance.

Just a short stroll away from the renowned Waitomo Glowworm Cave, we were immersed in a world of adventure and excitement right from our doorstep. The park itself boasts an array of thrilling activities and captivating attractions, ensuring that our stay in a 2-bedroom motel was filled with fun and exploration. The excellent customer service provided by the staff further enhanced our experience, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. We were especially appreciative of the staff who not only ensured our comfort but also went the extra mile to help us book our Ruakuri Cave tour, adding an extra layer of convenience to our stay. We stayed at the Waitomo Top10 for 3 nights over Easter and it did not disappoint! Great holiday park with well equipped and clean facilities. The kids loved the pool and go carts. Waitomo is a wonderful area to explore and we loved having the general store across the road for a real coffee and also dinner options with the Huhu Cafe and Tomo Pub.

This is a smallish site with pitches for camper vans. The facilities were good, as all Top 10 sites are. They were clean and well maintained. There is a small playground and other facilities for children, as well as the usual kitchen and barbecue areas. It is a few minutes drive the from the caves and so very convenient if you are visiting those as well.

This is a nice quiet location. The main concern was the loose scoria road in and out on a steep enough gradient for longer units. We, along with 4 other motorhomers and caravaners, were all concerned about exiting the camp. It's definitely something to be mindful of when planning to stay here.

Lovely site, and reasonably priced, perfect location for the caves. The facilities were immaculately clean, it felt brand new, I almost felt guilty using them 🤣 My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was the limited wifi. I would love to see some top 10 sites give unlimited wifi (maybe some do, but I haven’t found one)!
