Wakayama Marina City Hotel Reviews

The location is quite good, right by the sea. On a nice day, you can catch the sunset. The room is a bit dated, especially the carpet which is really old. However, they provide free tickets to a nearby hot spring, which is definitely worth trying. It felt like a hot spring with a lot of local character.

The location is far from the city centre. If you are not driving it is a bit difficult to find restaurants, except if you wanna eat in the hotel. The location is not far from the fish market, maybe 5 mins walking distance. The hotel looks old but has good maintenance and it has superb scenery as near yachts pier.

Room is spacious. Electronic check-out process is fast. Breakfast is tasty with tuna, fresh blended juices, different tastes of preserved pulms which is local food of Wakayama.

Very nice hotel, access to close by onsen/spa in room price included, even for the departure day.

the staff's service was great during check-out. he helped us to use the kiosk with patience.

Seaview in the bath is very beautiful. Overall service is very good. Free osen in close location.

No service take luggage everything yourself. Nothing much to do nearby and the fish market is expensive and small. Room cleanliness is alright, view is very nice.

Really old hotel. There is a smell inside the room. Not comfortable during the stay. Not recommended

A large facility with all the amenities. However, some fittings appear aged. Fortunately, the working staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful.
