This hotel seems to be at least last +30years. Most of the facilities in the room looks old. We were very lucky to met up with a front desk customer service - Mr Cao whom originated China but worked in Japan for many years. He assisted us to the JR Line counter in reporting my missing phone, and we did retrieved it back!

Directly connected to Wakayama Station. Because it was in front of the station, there was a CVS and so on. It was on the upper floor of ”Kino Wakayama” in the station building and dinner was done there. The building was clean and the bath was very comfortable with a view of the Kino River. There was also a menu with breakfast and it was delicious. However, it was a few dissatisfaction points that made the evaluation ”normal”. It is mainly a part of hospitality, not hard. First of all, I was guided to breakfast at check-in. Because it was a Bon Festival time, there was a paste that the breakfast time was early in the elevator, but it was guided at the front desk at the usual time. Under the corona, the locker of the bath was pulled out, but when the locker without the key was opened and asked the front desk whether it was possible to use it, it was answered that it did not get the point. When I used it for family ３ people and asked the front desk for breakfast tickets without a number of people and confirmed that it was okay and went to the breakfast venue, I was told that ”the breakfast ticket is not enough １ pieces”. I thought that the front desk was on the upper floor and it was surprising to go up to the upper floor once when I checked out. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. It seems that there is a chain hotel nationwide, but what about ... It is a hotel that does not come to the top of the choice.

I chose it because there is a large hot spring bath. It is close to Wakayama Station and there is a station behind the hotel, so it is convenient because you can enter and exit even in the early morning. Above all, it was good to be able to heal the fatigue in the hot spring. It was small and there were few washrooms, but there were no other users and I was able to relax in a state of occupying one person. The room was clean and even in the double room, there was a space to spread the luggage, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Simple hotel but super convenient, close to JR train station and there are many eateries nearby. The hotel even includes a complimentary buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but just a nice touch to start your day. Room is proper and clean. Note that the train station nearby is JR Wakayama station and not Wakayama-shi (Wakayama city) station on the private train line. I made a mistake myself and had to get here by another train ride. This is a very pleasant town. If you have time, take the JR line to Kishi station (貴志駅) to see its famous cat manager Tama.

ｰ Food ｰ Dinner was graded and correct. The taste was really good in the sashimi that entered in a large cherry blossom like a ball box. I had a pot of quer and ISE shrimp, but I personally wanted ISE shrimp to be put out first. The seasoning is not a taste that feels luxury, but none of them are delicious. The dishes recommend grading. Breakfast was half a buffet, but the amount and taste are satisfactory. There are many hotels with breakfast, but this is not such a thing ｡ fried rice was so much on the rice that it was a big board behavior. Recommended is smoothie and fruit yogurt｡ This inn is not a room meal, but the dining hall is next door and there is no partition or cherry blossoms ｡ ｰ room ｰ room was Japanese room, with unit bus. You can see that the building itself is renovated in the original 々 old and the room is renovated. The unit bus felt especially old. You can see the sea from the room. Even if it is said that the sea is like a bay like the inland sea, it is a view｡ The door of the room is open inside, so the slippers were caught and it was quite uncomfortable. I thought I should fix the slide door or the outside opening. I should have asked the front desk, but I couldn't understand how to turn off the lights next to the TV and went to bed. It's nice to be more understandable ｡ ｰ Hot Springs ｰ There are open-air baths and large baths ｡ open-air baths alternately change baths like jars and boat-shaped baths, but narrow ｡ If other guests use it, it's impossible ｡ shed There are 4 places, 2 dryers ｡ When there are many people, it is possible to return it. The hot spring quality was almost like tap water. The temperature is wet ｡ so I don't feel much hot spring feeling. ｰ Facilities in the building ｰ ◎ Lounge There is a guest-only lounge that can be relaxed with free coffee, massage chairs, etc. This was quite good. Some of them were paid, but they sold sake in the lounge. Even if it is sold, it is not a lounge where the employees of the inn are stationed, so it is relaxing. ◎ There is a pool pool. I thought it was unusual to have a pool, although it is not big. ◎ The room where children can play is small, but there is a play room and massage chair on the way to the corridor. ◎ Where a personal computer can be done You can have a personal computer in a nice view near the front desk. ◎ Vending machine There is also a juice vending machine and a cup noodle vending machine. ｰ Hospitality ｰ A lodging card like a lodging card that can be freely brought back to commemorate the guests' stay is pasted on the elevator. There is also a brush and 〇〇 in the dining hall. I felt very hospitality in this respect. The employee explained the color 々 at the time of the meal and felt good. Considering the facilities and prices of the hotel itself 3.5 ｡ There are many satisfactory points, but there were many unsatisfactory points, so it is a little higher than usual ｡

When I was looking for a hotel in Wakayama City, I found ”Daiwa Roynet”. I used it often on Okinawa Kokusai-dori, so I feel like I chose it by name first. It's quite far from Wakayama station, but there was no problem because it was used by car. I was surprised to check the location after making a reservation. It is in front of ”Wakayama Castle”. This day was during the illumination period, so I could see the illuminated Wakayama Castle in front of the room and it was the best location! The rooms are well equipped, equipped with deodorant and air purifier, and the refrigerator is in a state of kara, so I used it with drinks. Breakfast is a restaurant with a view of the castle in front of you. This is also outstanding. The content of the buffet is also a general Western menu, ”omelet” made in front of you. In addition, ”Wakayama specialty” was full, and I was full. I regretted that I should have centered on ”Eating and Comparing Umeboshi”, ”Shirasu”, ”Sesame Tofu”, and ”Tuna Kakuni” (laughs). There is also dessert after meals. It seems to be Wakayama that there was ”panda cookie” with coffee! If you make one request, I wish there was juice from ”Jabara” (Wakayama specialty citrus) in the juice corner ～! I thought. Almost 99 ％ This hotel is satisfied. Perhaps if I have the opportunity to go to Wakayama next time, I will take care of you again.

Overall, I'm satisfied, but I have a strong feeling for young couples, so there are some places where our ６０ couples do not match 々. Free drinks (vending machine type) are installed in the lobby, but since there is a small relaxing space, I feel that I have to take it back to my room or emphasize privacy. Su. So I think there are pros and cons. I think it is very convenient because it is within walking distance from JR Wakayama Station. Breakfast is not a buffet but individual delivery to the room (3 choices of Japanese, Western, and pancakes), so it seems to be pros and cons. The bus • The toilet is different from ⭕️, but I was confused because the bathroom door was transparent glass.

This ryokan is located in front of the Osaka Bay in the small bourgeoisie of Kada, 100 mts from the very beautiful sanctuary of Awashima-Jinja and 400 mts from the shipper for Tomogashima. A ship is made available by ryokan to travel to Kada station (Nankai line) to go and come to Wakayama city. The Japanese style rooms (tatamis on the ground, futons and hyper moulded couettes) are very spacious with a loggia with a XLL view of the sea and the Tomogashima and Jinoshima islands, especially for the sea side rooms. The dinner and breakfast, as well as the Japanese as it is due in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hostel), are a real pleasure for eyes and papillae. The service is courteous and careful, the charm of the atmosphere slightly over the year of the places operates. And of course, the onsen (Japanese public bath with hot source) indispensable for any person staying in the hotel is great with impressive view of the sea !!! It is a budget, but the situation, quality of service, the map proposed and the sense of investment is justified.

Not new, but clean enough. Looong corridors are a little bit “cattle class” and any view of the castle is unfortunately blocked by wire in the window panes (a fire code requirement I understand). Otherwise perfectly fine. Staff were helpful with secure road bike storage downstairs which was nice.
