Great getaway spot, friendly and helpful staff… The spa is top notch, Ebar is located perfectly and has incredible drinks.

Thaba is one of a kind...wonderful rooms Effortlessly mingled with nature's, pleasant staff, thematic gardens and paths, though provoking gardens, lovely foods, awesome rooms with heated blankets (we needed this) and well stocked fridges...that was a large TV ...and the ostrich were a delight to see ... Lovely place to detach and recharge

The Hotel and Conference Banquet were exquisite, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The Hotel staff are extremely accommodating, patient and helpful 24 hours (literally). The Executive Boardroom 'round table' gives a great touch to teambuilding and strategic sessions held, with snack intervals to keep the energy level on par while the thinking caps are high, a splendid experience indeed. Restuarant staff are amazing and 'on their feet' with one's order, breakfast buffet provides a wholesome, variety filled breakfast and there is an Ala carte menu to choose from, ideal for a day visit, if one has the time to; you get enthralled with the service and experience. A great thank you to the team assisting (Natalie, Siya and Joyce) from the conferencing depar**ent, your hospitality, attentiveness and organising was truly great!

Really great time at a resort with amazing rooms, good views and friendly staff. Great to walk around as well and felt very safe and secure.

i booked two rooms for one night for my bday celebration. We arrived around 3 and were told the rooms were not ready and had to wait for about an hour before we could check in. mind you check in is at 2. we got in the rooms and everything looked ok, went to dinner when we came back we saw that there was differences between the rooms, my guests rooms tv was not working and it was not a smart tv as compared to mine, they also didnt have coffee machine we reported this to reception and was told they can move them to another room which we refused cause it was already late. my problem is o me it looks as if i booked them a room which was less equipped that mine which really left a bad taste in my mouth. other than we enjoyed our stay

WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF THABO ECO! RECEPTION After entering the premises, we checked in at the reception counter which had 3 attentive, smiling staff making the process smooth sailing. Yes three! (Had stayed previous nights at accommodations with just one...) We were whisked to our room by the enthusiastic concierge staff on the golf carts and orientated to our room, which seemed like luxury honeymoon suites. ROOMS (#313) What a pleasant surprise and jubilation when we found a FULLY INCLUSIVE FULLY STOCKED REFRIDGERATOR WITH SUPPLIES!!! We had to phone the reception to confirm the fact that it was FREE! as we had not experienced this in our previous accommodation. The BIG bathroom, bathrobes and amenities (Charlotte Rhys Cape Town) add to the exhilirating experience of affluence and opulence. The view was AMAZING, TRANQUIL, PEACEFUL and SERENE while the architecture and facade of the units worthy of praise and glory. The only issue which was disappointing was the bed had no soft bedboard or covering, which is shown on some online pictures. SPA/GAME RESERVE Unfortunately the spa was fully booked on our visit, testament to the popularity of the venue and services. It was R500 for a 1 hr full body massage on visit and the facilities looked comfortable and attractive. The game reserve can only be visited utilizing their safari vehicles, which we skipped as we had our own 4x4. DINING The breakfast was fine dining leaving us with tasteful memories and splendid reviews while enjoying the natural surroundings, sounds and strolls. Well Done to THABO and TEAM in making the kingdom place and visit an unforgettable encounter with the best on offer and good value for all budgets. We came for a business trip in South Africa. Our customer recommended Thaba Eco Hotel. We decided to use Thaba as a home base while we visited several customers in Johannesburg. Even though we traveled in several quadrants of Johannesburg we were always looking forward to returning to Thaba following customer visits. The lovely setting, quiet ambience and great restaurant were a welcome retreat following a busy day with customers. Thaba Eco Hotel is a hidden gem within the bustling city of Johannesburg.

The hotel staff is friendly and go out of their way to help. The food is of a very high standard. The place is very neat and cean.
