Parkhotel Wallgau

We were here for the second time and had a suite with a view of the mountains. Very friendly team, excellent food, the suites were large and decorated in Alpine style. Everything was very comfortable. There was an underground car park and the swimming pool was OK. We'll be back.

Nice and helpful staff. Restaurant and menu was great! Previous online check-in was a bit puzzling, as I had to go back to reception anyway and write down all the details on the registration form to get a key. I'd be happy to come back.

Staff very attentive and food very good. Hotel very clean. Swimming pool sometimes only 25 degrees. A bit too cold in winter. Surroundings very beautiful and lovely hiking trails.

We celebrated my husband's birthday with relatives at the Parkhotel Wallbau and were spoiled. The staff is great, no matter where, whether at the reception, in the restaurant or housekeeping. Always friendly with a smile on their face. Wishes were happily fulfilled. The room cleaning was very thorough and clean. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We will spend Chris**as/New Year's Eve 2023 at the Parkhotel again and are really looking forward to it.

At the Parkhotel Wallgau, everything fits together perfectly: the building, the furnishings, the food and, above all, the competent and friendly staff. Not to forget the excellent location, which allows you to enjoy a vacation without having to drive too much.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel through the travel agency "Berge und Meer". With this offer you always get a room with a view of the village and a slightly more *****ped down half board than other guests. This means you only get three (instead of four) courses for dinner and there is no afternoon snack either. Even though we were a little confused at first because the neighboring tables were given a slightly different menu, the three courses were completely sufficient for us. The food was always delicious! The service staff were also always very friendly and approachable at all times. It was also very nice that we always had our own fixed table. This meant we could also make contact with the guests at the neighboring table. Overall, the restaurant always had a nice and family a**osphere. The rooms with a view of the village face the street and do not have a balcony. However, there is a large bay window with seating in the room. The room is also very large. The bathroom, on the other hand, could have been a bit bigger. It is modern and has a shower. But as it was always a bit too cramped for me, I preferred to go swimming in the basement in the morning. The pool there is medium-sized and more than enough for swimming laps. Otherwise, the indoor pool would probably not be built like this today. You can take the elevator down to the basement, but there are still several flights of stairs to get to the pool. Inconvenient for older guests. I also found it disadvantageous that there is only one shower directly at the entrance and exit. This is the same for both men and women. There is only one alcove opposite the shower for changing. However, this was often already taken by other guests. All in all, we felt very comfortable and can recommend the hotel! P.S. If you arrive without a car, like us, a member of staff will also pick you up from the train.
