The hotel is located fairly near Union station, however there is a massive problem with homeless people hanging around outside. Overall, the rooms are clean if not a little dated. We had a question over credit card charges. Our family booked the room online with Trip and the hotel preauthorised our card $340 dollars, on arrival charged $200 dollars deposit and then took a further $190 for some reason until o removed the authority on the card. A two night stay is equal to $740 dollars while we wait for refunds. The hotel could do more to make sure dangerous homeless do not wait around outside, and when there was a problem in my last night outside the security disappeared. If you want a bolt hole in Washington DC this is okay, for a family friendly environment due to problems outside and charging issues this is not the place to visit

I traveled to DC with my preteen and teenage sons for a basketball game. The property didn’t receive my reservation (booked through 3rd party) but the front desk staff took the time to make it right and get us set up. They had excellent customer service throughout our stay.
This hotel was VERY clean. I was actually surprised because I use to stay here frequently about 10 years ago and expected some things to run down a bit. It turns out that the hotel is very modernized and looks just as good now as it did a decade ago.
The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of the NoMa neighborhood and it is right next to the NoMa/Gaulludet (Red Line) Metro station. There are a few small shops across the street and a 7 Eleven next door if you are looking for a quick bite.
The room itself was comfortable. My youngest son and I slept soundly on the queen sized bed and my oldest slept on the couch. He was pretty comfortable without even folding the couch down.
Overall, I will definitely book here again as I frequently visit DC. Fo how inexpensive this hotel is, the quality was phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back.

When I stayed at this hotel I had a very bad experience there one because of I had my sweet and then the concierge didn't call me or tell me anything I'll give me the number to keishin until I went downstairs to pay the incidentals and that's when they told me that I had to switch rooms and that my room is sold out or pay for I was trying to figure out why would they wait so long and check out with at 12 noon and they went to tell me anything at 3:30 p.m. when the next shift came on I was very happy and I would like you guys to give me my refund back because I was very unhappy with this day thank you

It was clean and the staff was friendly!! But deposit is still... They don't process cancellations. I don't know how long I have to wait. There are no slippers, so be sure to take them with you.

The room was great, the staff was great but there was loud guests in the hallway at 4 in the morning making a lot of noise, and it seemed that there was protesters in front of the hotel at 2 in the morning making it difficult to sleep

Excellent location for visiting Smithsonian and DC monuments; hotel is just a few steps away from Metro station that is very easy to get to DC sites.
Roomy room with lots of storage. Bed was very nice but a bit to firm for me (but I like an extra soft bed). Pharmacies, grocery store, many dining choices, 7-11 convenience store, all within a few minutes walk. Two nights; slept well, hotel quite, not highly aware of city sounds or noise of other guests.

The property charged me 150 to clean up a room as if it’s not the job. It wasn’t messed up. Just towels from the pool in a pile and pizza boxes by the door.
