Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol

Excellent! This is exactly the kind of hotel I love – it really feels like a home away from home. The room is very spacious with large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the two sofas are perfect for lounging. It even comes with a coffee machine and coffee beans, which I definitely took advantage of, having several cups. If you need toiletries like toothpaste or slippers, you just ask the front desk. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the metro station, just a short walk away. Plus, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The room was spacious, bright, and clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is superb, just a 15-minute walk to Union Station and 25 minutes to the Capitol. The only downside was the loud air conditioning!

The cleaning schedule was inconsistent, so the room wasn't very clean, and breakfast was so crowded it was hard to eat.

The room was quite spacious, but the layout was impractical. Once the sofa bed was open at night, it was a hassle to get from the main bed to the bathroom, with only a narrow gap to squeeze through. There were no blackout curtains, so without an eye mask, it was hard to sleep soundly. The air conditioning was also very noisy. There are two or three supermarkets near the hotel, plus a McDonald's and a Western restaurant, so dining options were fairly convenient. However, the breakfast was bland and unappetizing, though there was a microwave available in the breakfast area.
