"This was my first trip to Washington, DC, and I booked this hotel in advance because the location looked great and I was able to get a really good discounted price. Although the room was listed as having a queen bed, it honestly felt more like a double or full-size bed. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. However, the biggest issue was how dusty the room was. I think it was the first time in my life that I sneezed more than 50 times in a single day. It bothered me throughout the entire trip, and constantly dealing with a runny nose made me even more tired. I eventually had to go to CVS and buy allergy medicine. I chose this hotel mainly because of the price, but if I visit DC again, I would probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Most places are still easily connected by metro through Google Maps anyway, so getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions isn’t difficult at all. That said, the front desk staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, so I would still recommend it for solo travelers. However, if you’re traveling with two or more people, I would suggest booking a better room than the one I stayed in, even if it costs more."

"We decided against going to New York at the last minute, so our family extended our stay for five more nights, drawn by the proximity to various museums, universities, and supermarkets. However, I have to give a bad review: the elevator smelled of urine, room cleaning depended entirely on the housekeeper's mood that day, and communicating with the front desk was useless. The worst part was that because we extended our stay and asked to change rooms, the sofa we were given was completely sunken in. The male staff member on duty that morning agreed, but couldn't find our extension receipt. We were in a hurry to go to a booked exhibition, so they made us come back to get our luggage! When we returned in the evening, a female staff member was on duty. After giving me the key to the new room, she asked if the security guard could accompany us to get our luggage, and that's when the bizarre thing happened! The female employee called her colleague on the intercom to ask the security guard to open the door for us, but her female manager refused, saying it was too late to let us move in. She then verbally abused her female subordinate, and later came out to argue with us, threatening to make us cancel our stay and saying she would call the police. In short, she was an extremely unprofessional and incompetent white female manager. Her Bangladeshi male subordinate later whispered that she was constantly bullied by her because of our skin color! We complained to the platform, and they said they would communicate with the agent. We hope more people will see this experience and avoid similar situations!"

"The hotel is in a great location, convenient for travel, spacious rooms, comfortable and clean bedding, and the deposit was returned very promptly. The room is equipped with a safe, ironing board, iron, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, cooking utensils, kitchenware, pots, bowls, plates, and tableware, so you can cook. There is just no range hood, so the room smells bad when cooking. There are no disposable items such as slippers, which is normal in American hotels."
