"Traveling during the New Year's Day holiday, I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to Emily from the Guest Relations Department at this hotel! The hotel was packed with people during the holidays, and there was a constant stream of guests checking in, asking questions, and needing assistance. Yet, Emily maintained her full enthusiasm and patience throughout, without a hint of slacking off. We were staying with our child, and she proactively and thoughtfully took care of us, offering convenient services for children. Her responses to our inquiries were prompt and detailed, and her attitude was exceptionally good."

Hotel near Shangdi Industrial Park/Xisanqi,Beijing
Xishan Hot Spring Hotel is located in the northwest of Haidian. The hot spring water comes from the rich mineral hot springs 3,000 meters below the Xishan Mountains. It is a leisure resort that packages hot springs, accommodation, dining, health care and entertainment together to bring everyone a perfect holiday experience with the concept of "happiness, fashion and health".

"I booked two rooms, one as part of a package and one regular. The hotel called ahead to let me know check-in was at 3 PM. When we arrived, the front desk upgraded our rooms, and they were quite spacious. There were some incredibly thoughtful details: my mother had forgotten her charging cable, but then, to our pleasant surprise, she found the hotel had provided three different charging cables right on the nightstand! Just that alone made us so happy. The bathroom also thoughtfully included disposable toilet seat covers! The room even had a dedicated area with teaware for brewing Gongfu tea! Since my mother is older, we didn't plan to go to the hot springs in our room. Instead, we just walked around and had dinner. We asked for directions twice, and the staff kindly escorted us. When they saw us looking for water, they brought some over enthusiastically. The next morning, while having tea, I felt so grateful – thank you very much! My child went to the hot springs and was very satisfied with the environment. The temperature throughout was perfect, allowing you to wear short sleeves without catching a cold, and the various hot spring pools had different temperatures to suit everyone's needs! A special shout-out to the Langlizi buffet restaurant. The selection was comprehensive. Although we seniors couldn't eat much, everything we wanted was there, and the group purchase price was very affordable! Since it wasn't a weekend, it wasn't crowded at all, which was very satisfying. The restaurant staff were also very dedicated. I'd give this hotel a perfect score. As it was our first time staying here, we didn't realize that Xishan Hot Spring Hotel and Langlizi were the same establishment. We had to search for parking for a while, so I hope the hotel can inform first-time guests about this. Free parking is a huge plus! Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Oh, and there was also a small snack platter upon check-in, thank you!"

At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"My family and I have been visiting for nearly a decade now – my child was just a little girl when we first started coming here! Our experience earlier this year was particularly good. The rooms were pleasantly scented, clean, and tidy. The overall package, including the hot springs, swimming, fitness facilities, and buffet breakfast, offered excellent value for money. The hot spring experience this time was exceptionally good, with great attention to detail. It was evident that the hotel places great importance on the water quality and environment in the hot springs area. We're particularly grateful to Manager Wang Fang, who oversees the hot springs. Her service is consistently excellent each year, always warm and personally attentive. The breakfast, as always, was incredibly rich, offering a wide array of both Chinese and Western options. We hope the prices remain affordable during the winter peak season, especially for loyal, returning guests like us."

The Palace Garden Hotel (Langlizi Xishan Huayuan Jiudian) is located approximately 38 km (24 mi) from Beijing Capital International Airport.Diners enjoy Chinese food at the hotel restaurant. In their spare time, guests can unwind with a drink in the bar. Recreational facilities include a gym and an indoor swimming pool. Those wanting to relax can make use of the hot spring. This Beijing hotel provides Wi-Fi in public areas as well as parking on site.

"I took my family to vacation on May Day. The hot springs were not as crowded as I imagined, and I always found a relatively quiet pool! The hygiene was good, and the waiters were very polite and considerate. You can see user feedback posters with ”Complain if you are unhappy” posted in many places. The customer service was very good. It is recommended to choose a room with a window to see the outside view. I booked two suites, one for the outside view for the elderly, and one for the inside view. I stayed for two days and felt inexplicably friendly when I saw the poplar trees outdoors... I especially want to praise the meal! ! I have eaten a lot of buffets in many cities. The music buffet is 238 per person. The price-performance ratio makes me feel like I am in a new first-tier city in the south. The price is much cheaper than many hotel buffets in Beijing, and even the price of buffet restaurants, but the food is really great! There are small hot pots, seafood abalone, crab legs, scallops and shrimps, and beef and mutton rolls are also good. I don't eat sashimi, but I saw a lot of them. Roast duck and roast lamb legs are also good. Sea cucumber millet porridge and Buddha jump over the wall are full of ingredients. The most favorite is crayfish, which has two flavors of garlic and spicy. You can completely enjoy the crayfish! I didn't eat the buffet at the hot spring, but there is a small hot pot with a 19.9 package of pot base dipping sauce and three vegetarian dishes. I really recommend it! ! We really ordered three 19.9 for three people, added a pickled garlic and a bottle of soda, and ate until our stomachs were full. It was very enjoyable!"

Hotel near Alpine Skiing Centre/Horticultural Exposition Park,Beijing
The hotel is strategically located at No.1, Guishui North Street, Yanqing District, adjacent to Jiangshuiquan Wetland Park, with the natural beauty of the “city in the garden, cityscape blending”, and a comfortable and pleasant environment. The hotel's location is superior, with smooth transportation, just a short walk to the Wanda business district, and within 20 minutes' drive to Yanqing High Speed Railway Station. Famous attractions surround the hotel, including the majestic Badaling Great Wall, Longqingxia Scenic Area, Beijing World Park and Shijinglong Ski Resort. A trip to the hotel's gym will inspire you; a visit to the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Cai Feng Bistro, or Sumi Café's all-day dining restaurant, or an evening cocktail in the Lobby Lounge at the end of the day will energize your mind and body and make your journey even more enjoyable. The Mu Rushing Hot Spring (a 2-minute walk from the hotel), which is also part of the Badaling Resort Park, focuses on the aesthetics of oriental Zen style, and is equipped with a 600-square-meter children's water park and swimming pool; the large-scale children's activity center, Bar-Ta-Badaling Play City, covers an area of 1,400 square meters and contains various types of amusement facilities, such as a theater of light, martial arts arena, a military field, the Great Wall Formation, a VR experience area, a naughty castle and an autonomous playground, as well as a climbing area, allowing children to immerse themselves in a variety of play facilities. Amusement facilities, with children immersed in a fantasy experience of the Oriental adventure. The hotel has become a hot travel destination in the suburbs of Beijing, and is the ideal choice for guests' business trips and leisure vacations.

"The hotel is built by the river and has a lawn. The rooms are quite spacious with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. The views from the window include both river and mountain scenery. The lobby offers free parent-child activities and paid Crown Club events, providing plenty of opportunities for kids to burn off energy. The outdoor play area was under renovation, otherwise, there would have been even more to do. The Muyun hot spring has a water play area with a very comfortable water temperature. The hot spring area mainly features four medicinal baths, eight floral baths, and the remaining are mostly private villas (xiju and boju), offering each family a relatively independent space, which is perfect for relaxation. The main issue was breakfast; it was too crowded, even at 10 AM, and the selection wasn't great. Overall, I'm very satisfied and plan to try a family room next time. Yanqing is a great place to enjoy the autumn colors right now, perfect for a weekend getaway."

"I've been coming back to this place pretty much every year. Even when it was still called Shiyuan Tangquan, I always felt it offered incredible value for money, especially considering it provides private hot spring pools. Finding a B&B with a private pool in Beijing can easily set you back nearly 2000 RMB. While the hot spring facilities downstairs are a little dated now, they're still perfectly adequate for kids to have a great time. The breakfast spread is also very generous; they even serve tofu pudding with fermented bean curd and chive flower paste, which I personally find much more delicious than the common savory versions. The property is conveniently located right next to the Beijing Expo Park. I heard there's a night market there during the summer evenings, but we unfortunately missed it due to the rain. There's also an iQIYI Amusement Park nearby, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained and really filled our two-day itinerary. My only suggestions would be to add more dining options and give the hot spring facilities some much-needed maintenance. We'll definitely be back for another visit!"

For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The Nangong Spring Season Hotel is a great family-oriented resort with a lot to like. Both the Chinese and Japanese restaurants had tasty food and were quick to bring our orders. The children’s playground was excellent, with a large, clean and brightly lit play area. The hotel water park was larger than I expected, although the main enclosed water park was closed. There was a significant quantity of black mould in the play area and some of the water toys were being held together with caulking, but it was serviceable. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable, although in dire need of maintenance. All in all our stay was great value for money and we would definitely consider returning."

Situated in the Daoxiang Lake Wetland Park, the Nirvana Resort (Daoxiang Hujing Jiudian) is about a 35-minute drive from the Great Wall and a 40-minute drive from the airport. In this Beijing hotel, guests will find Chinese, Western, Japanese and Korean cuisines served at the on-site restaurants. The coffee shop and lobby bar are perfect venues for guests to have a drink while chatting with friends. The well-equipped banquet hall and function rooms are suitable for business travelers to plan events like meetings and exhibitions. After a day of travel, guests may get pampered at the spa or head to the hot spring center. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the private karaoke rooms or spend some time at the recreation center.

"Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks."
