"Traveling to Dali, I chose to stay at the 'Zhongli Qianxun' courtyard hotel near the South Gate of the ancient city. Unlike the towering buildings in the bustling downtown, it quietly awaits guests with the gentle charm of a traditional Bai-style residence. The day before check-in, the hotel sent a thoughtful reminder with accurate and detailed navigation instructions for driving. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with my luggage and offered a warm cup of tea as a welcome. The wooden carvings under the eaves, with their dragon and phoenix patterns, and relief sculptures of flowers, birds, fish, and insects, exude a timeless artistry. In the traditional courtyard paved with bluestone slabs, traces of moss are shallow, water ripples gently, and fish frolic. Waking up, the first ray of sunlight pierces through the clouds, and golden light bathes the continuous mountain peaks; in the evening, with the ancient city's hustle and bustle just beyond the walls, I brewed a pot of Pu'er tea in the courtyard, enjoying only the serene passage of time. As dusk settled, the courtyard lanterns lit up one by one, their warm yellow glow softly outlining the contours of the upturned eaves. Amidst the interplay of light and shadow, the wooden carving patterns became even more profound. The manager and staff, Xiao Fen, Xiao Hui, and others whose names I couldn't recall, had smiles as warm as the lamplight. The Bai-style suite was elegant, and the service was wonderfully comforting, quietly melting away the fatigue of the journey. Searching for it through countless moments, I suddenly turned back to find that courtyard, that lamplight, and that stretch of Cangshan Mountain were precisely the softest moments of my time in Dali."

"Facilities: The facilities are generally good, but I'd suggest adding a deflector to the air conditioner. The direct draft from the AC during a shower is quite uncomfortable and could easily make you sick. Also, our room didn't offer a mountain view. Cleanliness: Very good. Location: Extremely convenient, close to both the ancient town and the bus station. Service: The owner was very warm and enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage."

"A very comfortable 5-day, 4-night stay! The hotel is beautiful, right by Erhai Lake. The interior design and even the music played made me feel like the owner has excellent taste, haha. Every morning I watched the sunrise, and in the evenings, I enjoyed the sunset from the balcony. The breakfast was plentiful, and in the evenings, sweet soup was delivered to my room. The staff were all very warm and professional. When they heard I had an early flight, they specially prepared a breakfast for me to take on the road and arranged a car to take me to the airport. A huge thank you! 🫶🏻 The dishes at the hotel restaurant were all delicious. My favorite was the Yunnan-style stir-fried beef with chili and sour flavors – super tasty!!! I also smelled the sour and spicy fish ordered by the table next to me, which seemed really good too, but I couldn't finish it alone 😖 Occasionally, there was a bit of noise during the daytime in the afternoon, as there were tourists passing by downstairs. However, it wasn't an issue as long as I was at the cafe or out exploring. It was very quiet at night, and I slept wonderfully. I'll definitely be back!!"

"Facilities: This is a newly opened hotel, with all the latest equipment and smart technology. The owner, a local, already lives there and has ventilated the room, so there's no odor, so don't worry. Environment: The rooftop star terrace offers stunning views, and on nice days, it's a delight to enjoy a coffee or a drink while gazing at the stars. Cleanliness: Cleanliness is meticulously detailed. Even a mysophobic person wouldn't be picky. Service: The breakfast is delicious, and the owner and everyone at the hotel are very nice and attentive. This is a great place to stay during the National Day holiday or for a day trip. We originally chose this hotel because it was close to the high-speed rail station, but we were pleasantly surprised. The owner even upgraded our room for free. We'll definitely be back next time. "This was hands down the most comfortable and pleasant hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, and our child absolutely loved it. The rooms and facilities were all brand new and spotless. With views of Erhai Lake, you could easily spend an entire day just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Afternoon tea and breakfast were also provided. In particular, the young gentleman at the front desk was incredibly warm, welcoming, and polite. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dali for a vacation!"

"The location is great, very close to the ancient town, and it's super convenient for visiting the March Street fair. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The hydrangeas in the garden were in full bloom, and I was absolutely stunned by how vibrant they looked as soon as I walked through the gate. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting us with our luggage upstairs. Everyone we met had a smile on their face, which created a wonderful atmosphere."

"I stayed in several hotels during this business trip. I didn't have high expectations for this hotel, but the whole process of staying here made me feel ”at home” 1. After arriving at the hotel, the staff will create a small group and you can ask any questions directly in the group. They will also ask if you need to buy items or clean the room, as well as the breakfast time, etc. 2. Since this restaurant is a cliff restaurant, you can't avoid climbing stairs. Before leaving, I was still wondering what to do with the suitcases, but after arriving, the staff immediately took care of everything and were very enthusiastic (I praise the reception lady, she is really simple and enthusiastic) 3. The hotel also provides some facial masks, care packages, mosquito bites and other items. This is very considerate and I have never had it in other hotels. The hotel also has photographers who can take photos for customers (but I don’t take advantage of this free photo shoot because I’m socially anxious) 5. Breakfast is not a buffet. Each person has their own meal. It is very rich and there are many varieties. The meat in the rice noodles is not greasy. Moreover, the staff saw that I was not wearing much and immediately asked me if I needed a blanket (and reminded me that it was freshly washed). Someone also came to ask if I needed more when I was eating. Really, really, really, the whole service process was so comfortable! No matter what you do, there will always be people asking if you need any service. When I checked out, I was given a souvenir and my clothes were mailed to me. 6. You can tell at a glance that the hotel's hard decoration is expensive. The quality is incomparable to those regular famous hotels. You can see the quality in any photo. 7. The whole stay, whether dining, sleeping or living, was very satisfying. It made me, a person who was disappointed with the famous hotels, start to look forward to it again (I have a small suggestion, I hope there will always be someone at the front desk. I went to the front desk twice and didn’t see anyone. I asked in the group and found out that they were delivering things to other guests) It's so beautiful no matter how you take the photo..."
