"My friend and I travelled here while sightseeing the Huangshan Mountain area on off-peak season in early February and stayed here 1 night. Shanyu Life and Design team were amazing at assisting us with organising transport from before we arrived. Really appreciated the quick response times and helpfulness!
When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome tea and snack, the kitten was super playful and great fun. Overall, the service was excellent, the best wholesome meals with good portions and nutritient rich. We ordered the stinky fish and pork ribs at night, and had a lunch with noodles.
The room was two beds as we had requested and was a really nice, modern fitout. Only thing was the shower/ bath not in a separate room - might be better for families, and some dust on the lamp shades but otherwise we were very happy. The lighting was also a struggle as some soft ones stayed on all night and the light switching was missing ones for the reading lamp on each side. Extra amenity like the loud speaker, slippers, picnic gear were all bonuses.
Appreciated the large spaciousness and privacy we had, with a road view. The communal areas had lots of seating for groups in the dining and offered more outdoor areas to explore.
A+ experience, would return!"

"Where do I begin? Me and my family is completely blown away by this gem of a hotell. The service, the food, the rooms, the views....everything is top notch! We stayed in a family suite, 3 adults, with our own little infinity pool at the balcony, with views of the stunning valley and river. The beds are comfortable, and the room had the latest technology that made everything even more comfortable! The butler service they provided via wechat was excellent. The hotsprings was also excellent. As I said, I'm blown away.
All the good words I know in English, I want to write here. The road to the hotell was beautiful, with stunning views of Huangshan. I would even boldly say, that it's foolish NOT to visit this hotel.
They have so much to offer! I could kick myself for not staying longer! It couldn't have been a more perfect spot to bring my family to for the first time to see gems of China.

"The guesthouse is conveniently located near the South Gate of Huangshan Mountain, with easy parking. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, featuring a stylish Nordic minimalist design. The furniture and soft furnishings are of high quality, including TOTO toiletries and luxuriously scented shampoo and shower gel. The children in the family room played on the slide so much they didn't want to go to sleep. From the naming of each room to the subtle decorations in the corners, you can feel the owner's taste and love for life. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful. On our arrival day, he gave us fresh local fruit. The next day's breakfast included sticky white porridge, shumai, eggs, milk buns, yogurt, coffee, and pickled vegetables – a truly energizing meal. The owner even drove us to the entrance of Huangshan Mountain in his van, and on our way down the mountain the next day, he specially picked us up. After two days of hiking, having a private car to pick us up from the scenic area was a real comfort. The amenities and service are more than those of a five-star hotel; I love it and have already recommended it to my friends."

"The room is as beautiful as the pictures, and the bedding is very clean. The boss is very nice, helping to arrange a car from the station to the hotel, and also free pick-up to Huangshan. The environment of the homestay is also very good. You can see the mountain when you go out. There is a camping site opposite where you can have a barbecue. We arrived at the store at around 9 o'clock the night before and planned to climb Huangshan the next morning. The boss gave us a map and carefully planned the climbing route for us. We can also use the trekking poles in the store for free when we go hiking. The breakfast is very filling, and the boss packed it for us to take away when we left on the last morning. There are kittens in the store, but they are afraid that there will be guests and they can't let them out, but they are very cute! It's also very comfortable to soak in the hot springs. In short, it was a very good accommodation experience! I wish the boss a prosperous business! !"

"The hotel is conveniently situated just 200 meters below the South Gate, though it's about 2-3 kilometers from Tangkou Town center. There are surprisingly two passenger transfer centers, with the Xiaoyaoxi center being closer to the hotel. Luckily, we pre-arranged a shared ride with the hotel from Huangshan North Station, which brought us directly to the hotel entrance. However, when we went out for a stroll in the afternoon, our taxi back dropped us off at the town center, leaving us with a significant walk to get back to the hotel. Getting to Huangshan from the hotel is exceptionally convenient. The owner even held an evening briefing, offering a wealth of useful information for our trip. Breakfast was excellent, and we were even able to pack some items to take with us up the mountain. Our room was clean and well-appointed. All in all, it's highly recommended."

"The homestay is very design-conscious. You can see the mountains and flowers as soon as you open the door, and you can see the green bamboo forest and the spring water flowing through the door. It is non-stop day and night. The smell of nature makes you breathe more freely. The balcony of the room faces the mountains. You can talk to the sky and mountains while lying on the bed. The room is very clean and well sealed. The bed is comfortable. The food is delicious. Don't miss the hearty breakfast, the smelly mandarin fish and wild vegetables for lunch and dinner, and the authentic green tea after the meal. It is so delicious. In the morning, when you push the door to the platform, you can hear the fragrance of flowers and the chirping of birds, and the sunshine is just right. There are also naughty little squirrels and docile ”beautiful dogs”. It is worth the trip."

"Just walked into the hotel, I was attracted by the decoration of the log wind. I thought the newly renovated hotel would have a pungent taste, but there is no here! The air is fresh and natural, which makes me relax instantly, and the goodwill is directly full.
The cleanliness of the room is impeccable! The floor is bright and reflective, the bed is flat and soft, and the bathroom has no smell. It is cleaned carefully.
I have to mention the hotel's facilities, it is really complete! Laundry room and gym are all available. For people who travel frequently, the laundry room is simply a savior, and there is no need to worry about changing laundry. It is very comfortable to run and run in the gym watching the scenery.
There are also many public areas of the hotel, which are designed with great care. There is a comfortable sofa area for people to relax and rest, and a quiet reading area, which is very suitable for a person to read a book quietly. "Choosing this hotel in Huangshan was a delightful surprise! It's incredibly close to the scenic area, just a short walk away, which meant no early morning rush to catch a bus – that was amazing. Staying here, I was surrounded by lush greenery all day, with only the sound of the wind and birdsong. Looking out, the green mountains were right there, truly a healing experience. The room was spotlessly clean with no overlooked corners, and all the essential amenities were provided. Even small details like the bathroom counter storage and bedside charging outlets were well thought out. What made it even better was the staff; not only were they enthusiastic, but they also customized an itinerary based on our schedule and recommended some fantastic local restaurants. "This hotel not only met all our expectations but also surprised us with its beautiful surroundings. The hotel has a beautiful traditional Hui building style, yet the interior design is modern and comfortable, with many beautiful wood designs. We love the arrangement of seats in different places in the hotel which provided a bigger space for chilling. The hotel owns a hillside with bamboos and flower trees and a beautiful traditional pavilion on the top for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
They provide geared bicycles for free use. We rode to the fascinating and beautiful villages nearby. Their very friendly little dog cheerfully accompanied our riding, and their two lovely sheep enjoyed our hand feeding.
There is a children’s play ground.
The hotel owner is a very nice couple and the staff are friendly too. The catering staff are very accommodating.
The air and water in the hotel and the surrounding are very good. We want to come back again."
