Shenzhen Hotels with Water Park

"I decided to have a ”micro vacation” in Shenzhen on short notice. I chose this Santa Monica hotel that had been in my favorites for a long time. I didn't expect to meet the ideal life aesthetics around the corner✨ ▪️The room is a gentle cream wood style. I really like the unbeatable sea view on the balcony, very nice~ ▪️The butler service is considerate but not excessive. I received a seasonal fruit basket when I checked in. I contacted WeChat for a quick response if I needed anything. ▪️The first-floor terrace was unexpectedly photographed! The combination of white parasols + tropical green plants Order a cup of Americano and vacation in Chiang Mai~ It's more like an ideal friend's home than a hotel. There is no overly designed bustle. There is just the right amount of relaxation and freedom. It's a favorite that I want to hide secretly💛"

"This hotel offers an exceptional stay, satisfying in every aspect from location and service to facilities, making it excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. The hotel boasts a prime location, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and business district, with a plethora of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff are warm and professional; the front desk efficiently handled check-in and thoughtfully introduced local attractions. Housekeeping is meticulous, with daily cleaning and replenishment of amenities. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation and high-end toiletries. Facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, swimming pool, and high-speed WiFi. Breakfast is diverse and delicious, offering a great mix of Western and Chinese options. Overall, the experience was well worth the price. I'll definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends."

"We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen with our family—our 3-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son, my wife, and me—and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is wonderfully child-friendly, with activities that kept our kids delighted throughout. The pirate-themed swimming pool was a standout; our children didn’t want to leave! Our daughter especially adored the train that circles the swimming play area, adding a magical touch to their fun. The gym area is excellent, offering a great space for adults to unwind and stay active. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations, and breakfast was superb, featuring an impressive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to suit every taste. A big thank you to @Dafne 达芙妮 for making our entire stay so special — her thoughtful service truly enhanced our experience. We have been returning to this hotel since our son was 2 years old, and thanks to Dafne, this visit was extra memorable. We are already looking forward to our next stay!"

"Overall, my recent stay at this 5-star family-friendly hotel was largely positive, with some definite highlights and a few areas for improvement. The hotel's swimming pool is definitely a major plus. The water quality was excellent, making it safe and reassuring for kids to play in. It's well-designed with separate pools for children and adults, as well as distinct lanes for swimming and a learning area. However, a slight drawback is the occasional influx of non-guests, which sometimes affects the experience for hotel residents, making it feel a bit crowded. I suggest they better manage access for non-guests to prevent overcrowding. As a newly opened hotel, the facilities are all quite new. The overall experience upon check-in was pleasant, and the ambiance was comfortable. Service was generally on point for most of our stay; they even provided small gifts for the children during check-in and check-out, which made our kids very happy. The hotel butlers and managers were consistently checking in on guests' service experience, showing a genuine commitment to providing excellent service and building a good reputation. The children's play area and its associated amenities still need improvement. There aren't many activities available, making it less engaging for children. For instance, the ball pit lacks a slide, and there's a lack of inflatable attractions and amenities such as non-slip socks. The nearby leisure park also offered a mediocre experience, and its integration with hotel services felt disjointed, lacking smooth coordination. This large leisure park is a valuable resource, and I hope they utilize it better, perhaps by offering shuttle services for hotel guests and discounted car rental services, which would be extremely helpful when visiting on a sunny day. The hotel restaurant didn't offer great value for money. Both the taste and variety of dishes could be improved; it felt a bit overpriced for what was offered. (Note: We only tried Cantonese cuisine for several days and did not sample the dim sum or Western options.) As a LEGO-themed family hotel, LEGO brick creations are prominently displayed throughout. The linear corridor design of the lobby contributed to a nice atmosphere and cultural theme. I hope they further enhance these distinctive features to truly make it a classic destination (for example, some room types could easily accommodate a LEGO building table, allowing children to play and build even within their rooms). I hope the hotel takes these points for improvement into consideration, as I believe it will become increasingly popular."

"The room is spacious and bright, and the location is excellent, right next to the subway entrance. The surroundings are beautiful, close to Shenzhen Bay and MixC, with plenty of food options. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the Spring Cocoon Sports Center for concerts!"

"This InterContinental resort hotel was great, living up to the brand's usual standards. The room facilities and cleanliness were all up to par. I stayed for three nights and was very comfortable, with no inconveniences. Most rooms offer a sea view, though not all face directly out; some might be slightly angled due to the hotel's curved building design. During check-in, we were recommended Room 23, which offered a perfect direct sea view. It was excellent! So, for future guests, I recommend rooms in the 20s to mid-20s (you can check the room layout in the photo). The hotel's other facilities are also good. There are three outdoor pools and one indoor pool, all equipped with lounge chairs. The indoor pool even has inflatable toys for guests to play with. The gym and water sports equipment rental facilities were all well-equipped. The gym even had a stair climber, which I appreciated, haha. Breakfast was delicious and generally very good. Every day, I enjoyed a tiny, hard whole-wheat bread that was incredibly fragrant with a strong wheat flavor. Paired with a little light cream, it was super aromatic. The noodle bar also offered three kinds of greens and mushrooms daily. The soup itself was a bit salty, making a bowl of veggies in the morning very satisfying. On my last day, I had oil-splashed noodles (youpo mian) that were freshly shaved, very springy, and delicious. If you don't have a big appetite, remember to ask for fewer noodles. The breakfast restaurant's order and cleanliness were also good, making for a comfortable meal. The hotel's lobby bar also offered decent food. I had two cakes: the pistachio chocolate was better than the Opera cake. I also tried a refreshing chilled dessert (qingliangbu), which was quite tasty. The coffee was just average. I didn't try the hotel's buffet. I had a Tom Yum soup and a seafood salad at the Southeast Asian restaurant upstairs. The taste was good, but it wasn't great value for money. I went to the hotel's Cantonese restaurant, Yuècài Wángfǔ, two days in a row and absolutely loved it (you can see my separate review for Yuècài Wángfǔ). So, dining is definitely not an issue here. The front desk service was superb. The same kind and friendly gentleman, who was a bit chubby, checked us in and out. He was very warm and attentive, leaving me with an excellent first impression as soon as I arrived. All in all, Dameisha in the off-season is well worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves every night and waking up to the morning sun. After breakfast, I'd take a walk on the beach or just lie on a lounge chair by the beach or pool, lost in thought until the afternoon. It was truly delightful."

"This stay was an absolute delight! The hotel exuded a playful, child-friendly vibe right from the lobby. My child's eyes lit up upon seeing the adorable themed decor, and they were practically dancing with excitement. The room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped, featuring a child's bed, kid-friendly toiletries, and excellent safety precautions. The absolute highlight was the fantastic family-friendly facilities. The indoor play area rivaled a small amusement park, and the pool boasted a dedicated kids' section with plenty of water attractions. Our child had such a blast they didn't want to leave! The adult pool felt deeper than 1.5 meters. A short 300-meter walk takes you to the mini-train station. The mini-train operates on a circular route, conveniently bringing you back to the starting point. Right next door, there's a jungle adventure course that kids from kindergarten age and up absolutely loved. Adjacent to the train plaza, a bus stop offers convenient transportation to Yunhai Park. As it was a Monday, the staff kindly upgraded us to a Whimsical Family King Room. The service was simply impeccable. Staff were all smiles throughout our stay, even proactively helping with our luggage. We've already decided to come back for another visit! This is hands down the ultimate family-friendly destination – book it without a second thought! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"The first time I came to Jiaochangwei for a holiday, I chose this homestay. There is a bathtub in the room, and you can also enjoy the scenery outside the window while taking a bath. The dining bar downstairs is also very exotic, and it is also very popular to shoot casually. There are also music performances every night. Sitting next to the swimming pool and drinking while listening to music is also very enjoyable. There is also a convenience store next to the homestay, which is very convenient. The owner of the homestay is very warm and friendly. The only downside of this homestay is that there is no elevator, and it is a bit inconvenient if there is more luggage."
