Whether you are seeking a romantic couple’s getaway for a fun-filled family break, Best Western Plus Carapace Hotel Hua Hin will immerse you in the serenity of the sea.
"This hotel is located at the southern end of Hua Hin, a bit far from the city center. Most guests drive here, and there's parking available both inside and outside the hotel.
We booked a twin room with a bathtub. The bathtub is in the room, which makes it a bit cramped if you add an extra bed, but without it, the space is quite decent.
The hotel has two swimming pools and two restaurants. Due to time constraints, we only used the hotel's pool and the breakfast restaurant. The pool has some water slides and other recreational facilities, making it suitable for families with children.
The hotel is a few minutes' walk from a secluded beach, perfect for a stroll or a morning jog. On the main road outside the hotel, there are some convenience stores and restaurants. At the end of the road, you'll find Turtle Mountain and Turtle Mountain Lake. There's a picturesque pavilion in the lake that's great for photos. On Turtle Mountain, there's the Rulai Zen Temple, built into the mountain overlooking the sea, which is worth a visit. It's about a 20-minute walk from the hotel, or you can drive to the foot of the mountain."
