all good and according to expectations, nice location and clean

Plenty of easy parking and location great for Waterloo1815 history buffs. Rooms in the loft/ top floor are like hot cupboards with Velux windows you can’t see out of. Despite us asking for at least one room with a good view. Go out to eat. Restaurant meal was very poor and was expensive.Overall very disappointing but for one night only the location alone compensates for the low quality of this hotel.

Very tired hotel with no aircon. Noisy people chatting until late at night. Room was not very clean and the mattress was sinking from old age. No handles on the inside of the bathroom doors meant you could not close the bathroom (no lock either) Tired shower inside an old bath. Breakfast was basic with a couple of flies buzzing around that did nothing to help this rating. Avoid.

This is a good hotel with a busy and popular restaurant Located about 25km south of Brussels it is easily accessible from the N5 which is a busy north/south road Plenty of parking and only 200 metres from the main 1815 museum Staff were very welcoming and were very helpful when asked We were in the Napoleon room which was ok but the bathroom especially could do with an update Overall a decent visit without being outstanding

Easy to navigate and good fares

We loved this hotel, smart and stylish and in an excellent location. Great views from our room named after one of the participants in the battle. Safe storage for our bicycles, an excellent restaurant and a professional and helpful staff. A young man called Tam(?) went above and beyond. Exceptional service. We hjad a great stay here with easy access to all the historiocal sites. Highly recommended.

Positives: large family room, 2 connecting rooms each with double bed. Great bathroom. Is minutes away from Waterloo museum which is fantastic. Negatives: outside room is a long horizontal pipe which is the ventilation pipe from the kitchen, loud noise and at times smelly fumes so could not have window open at 11pm Saturday night. Fans were provided for each room which we kept on all night but were quiet. No tea making facilities until I insisted because there was a photo of such on hotel website. Hotel has recently changed management, looks distinctly tired, badly in need of decoration. Bedroom key was difficult to operate.
