The room was clean, comfortable, and hygienic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. But valet parking not really suitable for me.

Definitely not a 5-star standard; it's just a budget hotel, at most a 3-star. Secondly, there are several parking lots nearby that charge $13 a night, yet the front desk told us there was no parking available in the vicinity and we had to park in the hotel's front yard for $40 a night, requiring us to leave our car keys at the front desk. In reality, there's also free street parking. Furthermore, only coffee, tea bags, shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper are provided for free; everything else costs extra or isn't available.

Nestled on a small hill near the CBD, it's about a 15-minute walk. The restaurant boasts a superb view. We opted for an Executive Room on the top floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic city views. Taxis to the city center typically cost around 10-20 New Zealand Dollars (NZD), while a ride to the airport is about 40-50 NZD.

Was such a great place to stay. Had a small wait when checking in for our room but the staff were just amazing will definitely be back.

Another excellent stay at this lovely hotel. We had pre booked parking, which meant our car was safe. The room was excellent with very comfortable bed. We also used the restaurant & had a lovely meal, with very good service. Also very good breakfast before we left too.

From the moment we arrived in the hotel, we felt very welcome and all of the staff were top notch. Specially Kate who gave us a lot of information about the hotel and even suggested a good restaurant.

This was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
