The place is just 5' from the inter city bus stop, it is very clean and Sandra helps in anyrhing that you could need.

I had a great stay at this hostel in Wellington! The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the main sights and very close to Cuba Street, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hostel itself was spotless, and I really appreciated the free towel provided. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful extras like free coffee, tea, oil and herbs for cooking, which made preparing meals much easier. The dorms were spacious and the beds where very comfortable. What really stood out were the little touches: free yoga sessions and cozy lounges that made it easy to unwind and meet other travelers. Overall, a welcoming, clean and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Wellington. Highly recommend!

First of all, the location is very convenient, with plenty of parking spaces outside and parking lots nearby. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, answering guests' questions and providing currency exchange for the washing machines and dryers. The only downside is that the room next to the stairwell door is extremely noisy; anyone entering or leaving and closing the door is very loud, even vibrating the walls. We stayed in a bunk bed room, and it was incredibly noisy, with people still coming and going even at midnight. If the stairwell door had a soft-close mechanism, guests wouldn't be slamming the door so loudly! The room's soundproofing is also quite poor, making it difficult to sleep well. Aside from that, the public facilities are excellent! I really liked it!

Traveling solo in Wellington, I took a bed in a 6-bed, women-only dorm. Marion Hostel is well-run: everything is clean, and the common areas are well-equipped. They don't just provide basic supplies; there are also spices and olive oil available (handy for short stays), plus shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. There are also several well-appointed common relaxation areas. And on top of all that, they organize events (game nights, yoga sessions). And on Saturday mornings, free pancakes! Marion Hostel doesn't feel like a "factory" like some other hostels. One small drawback: when you get the top bunk (which, let's be honest, nobody wants), you get direct sunlight because there's no top on the bed and no curtains on the windows. But otherwise, it's great.

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and shared spaces were all very clean. The beds had curtains so I felt like I was in my own private room. I'd definitely stay here again.

The average price seems to be around $42. It's $10 more expensive than other hostels, but it's definitely worth the price. You can get various discount coupons for cable cars, breweries, brewpubs, and more. I didn't use them, but they also seem to offer free bike rentals. There are various activities every day of the week, so it seems like a great place to meet people.

The interior design of the hotel is very good, and the rooms are naturally lit during the day. The people in the hotel are very nice and greet each other when they meet. It is a great experience

I'm very satisfied! If I have the opportunity to visit Wellington again, I'd definitely stay here again! The kitchen, dormitory, living room, and lounge were all very user-friendly, making for a comfortable stay! The kitchen offered free unlimited milk and dairy. You could also use as much oil, salt, pepper, and spices as you wanted. There was also a lot of free food left by previous guests, which was very helpful!❣️ Yoga was held every day at 9:00 and 4:00 PM, there were running events, and art workshops, so it seemed like it would be easy to make new friends! (There were many long-term guests, so it seemed like people were chatting frequently.) The staff were also very helpful, explaining things to me and carrying my heavy luggage to my room.🙏🏻 A Japanese person living in New Zealand whom I met during my stay also said this was the best hostel in Wellington, so I highly recommend it!💫

The hotel is located in the center of Wellington, close to Cuba Street. There are many restaurants, shops and supermarkets, as well as a midnight dessert bar. The room is comfortable and warm, and the staff will be enthusiastic to provide assistance. Recommended.

It's very close to Cuba Street, so it's great for sightseeing. It is a good idea to bring a lock for the drawer under the bed and the locker where you can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. You can drink coffee and cocoa for free. It was nice to have pancakes and dinner parties on the weekends.
