"Excellent location. Near to shopping district, short walk to harbourside. Breakfast spread is good. Check-in counter staff Dawson deserves a mention. We booked room with breakfast but their system shows room room. He got it sorted out promptly. Gym is a disappointment though. The main gym machine is broken. Can only work with free weights and treadmill"

"This was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly."
